In this masterclass, you'll learn to paint a stunning acrylic portrait of a subject of your choice, hosted by the master himself Jack Ford.

You'll learn about blending skin tones and studying contrast, as well as capturing the likeness, character and personality of your subject.

The class will begin with pencil and paper based warm up exercises to help you find your creative flow before moving onto your paintings. FAQs
What will I be painting?
Guests can transform a photo of their choice into a painting in just 90 minutes, using our clever light boxes, even as a complete beginner.
Are your classes suitable for children?
Yes, if they have adult supervision. If having a grown-up present is not possible, we also run Mini MasterPeace classes for those younger budding artists.
Are your classes Covid secure?
As part of our Covid response, our in-studio classes are currently limited to groups of 6. Perfect those who co-habitate, co-bubble or just love being together! Social distancing and other Covid safety precautions are taken at all times. See our 'Covid Update' blog post in the footer of our website for up to date info on all things Covid.
What is the structure of the class?
Each class will begin with pencil and paper based warm up exercises to help you find your creative flow before moving onto your paintings. You'll then be guided by the professional artist instructor to create an impressive painting that is personal to you.
How have you adapted your classes for COVID-19?
For a full breakdown of all the extensive measures we've implemented to stay Covid Secure, head to our latest blog post - found in the footer of our main website. A few minor points to mention for our regular guests who perhaps visited us pre-covid and are wondering what's changed: - Our usual shareable bottles of Prosecco have been swapped for individual cocktails (and mocktails) served in cans - this is to limit hand-to-hand (and bottle-to-glass) contact for now. Biodegradable cups are available. The cocktails are delicious, we love them, but we'll get back to bubbles as soon as we can! -Our gorgeous cotton artist's kimonos have been temporarily swapped to biodegradable gowns. They're not quite as pretty but they get the job done, and they're kind to the planet too.
