What happens in this class?

One of the brewery team will begin with a quick talk about the history of mead, a tour of the brewery and a tutored tasting of Gosnells core range. This will include some samples of their special mead and other kinds of mead for comparison.

You will then be set up with all the equipment you need to brew your own mead! You will be guided through the processes. Such as: selecting the base ingredients, mixing up your “must” and pitching your yeast. You will then be briefed on what to expect from the fermentation process and how to finish…

Fantastic course! The teacher was so knowledgeable and it was great to hear all about the types of honey you can use. I had never tried mead or done any brewing before - I will be definitely doing some experiments at home now. I can't wait to try the mead I made :D
