What happens in this class?

An ideal taster class to the world of Patchwork & Quilting. Four different techniques :

  • Confetti Quilting,
  • Quilt As You Go (QAYG),
  • Log Cabin, and
  • Applique Design.
Things to remember

Follow a specific technique to create a sample block / square, which may be used to create a completed quilt at a later date.

Class 1: Applique Design is a simple construction technique and fun way to express your creativity. Select you design, fabric and off you go!

I was given a handout that was very comprehensive & the instructor explained every stage in detail as I did them & put me at my ease when I asked what could be silly questions. Even though I started late, the instructor continued after the allotted so that I not only had the full time, but went home with my finished item & having never done any quilting I was very proud of it. I would certainly recommend anyone doing this particular workshop & look forward to doing another type of workshop with you.

​Since completing her degree in ‘Costume and Technical effects for the performing arts’ at London College of Fashion in 2001, Rachel worked freelance in the film and events industries for many years before taking a break to be at home with her three children whilst they were small.
