This was a really enjoyable introduction to Shibori. I had no previous experience but felt by the end of the workshop that I could go off and practice and develop my new skills. Yiran was a great teacher- calm, clear and organised. I really enjoyed the cultural context she provided too. I learnt 4 types of stitch resist patterns and how to dye the cloth. The kit for the workshop was very useful too. Yiran showed me lots of inspiring examples of how you can use these simple techniques to great effect.
