Kogin is a traditional Japanese embroidery technique that hails from the great sashiko traditions of northern Japan, but unlike sashiko, is a counted thread technique. It is stitched from side to side, resulting in fabric almost three times its original thickness, trapping air for warmth.
During this 2-hour workshop, you will try different kogin patterns and learn to read different kogin patterns.
All the materials will post to you once you book the workshop, all you need is just a pair of scissors.
