This workshop is tailored for 18+ and onwards and is also beginner-friendly.

HOW BIG IS THE CLASS?
Minimum of 1 to a maximum of 6. If you want to arrange different dates for private-bookings, please do get in touch.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
All materials will be provided. Everything you'll use is professional materials for a more enjoyable painting experience.
Feel free to bring any materials you want to add to your composition.
DO YOU PROVIDE REFRESHMENTS?
Free teas & coffee with biscuits/chocolates Feel free to bring your own treats.
DO YOU PROVIDE LUNCH?
NO. There are loads of nice cafes to choose from at Earlsfield station, a 10min walk from the studio.
Tesco is just next door if you want to grab an easy lunch choice or bring your own lunch and have it at the studio.

Important note:
The session will start EXACTLY on time. Please allow enough time to get to the studio at least 10 minutes ahead of time. I will be waiting at the main door of the YELLOW STUDIO during this time. My studio is on the 1st floor, and it can only be accessed with a code. Once the class has started, I won't be able to fetch you downstairs, as it would be unfair to leave the others for anyone arriving late. I will not be able to respond to texts and emails when the class started.
Please note: No refund or rescheduling will be issued for latecomers due to processing fees.

A full refund can only be given within 14 days from the initial date of booking. You can reschedule your class provided I am given at least 7 days' notice before your class date. Unfortunately, I am unable to change any bookings if less than 7 days notice is given.

The class was good and all practical, I did find that it was not as informative as I had hoped for. We were not told about how to blend or colour pallets or exactly which type of materials to use or how to finish of the painting . I was asking many questions but didn’t feel I was getting the right answers. Also alot of the paints had run out so we were limited in which we could use or trying to scrape out the paints that were there.
We had 3 pieces of art which we each produced on thin canvas boards these were all with different types of texture. We got to take these home but they were wet. It took a lot of drying with our own hairdryers throughout the 6 hours .

Alma was fantastic, she immediately made everyone feel at ease, and was so friendly, encouraging and knowledgeable. Alma's class was AMAZING! The class was intimate, she shared her vast artistic knowledge, helped give guidance, and examples of composition, colour and texture before you even start putting paint to canvas. The time melted away, but at the end a stunning textured painting, and more importantly, knowledge and confidence to create future textured artwork stayed with me. If you choose just one teacher, and one class I wholeheartedly recommend this class. You will NOT be disappointed.

Alma's class on textured abstract art was such a great introduction to textures. I learned a lot and Alma was great at explaining everything whilst also letting our creativity flow. Her studio is a lovely space for this class and Alma is very friendly and welcoming. We had a range of abilities in the class and I was a beginner but Alma was able to cater to everyone's level and style. I would highly recommend this class and will be looking to book another class with Alma soon.
