Nothing. All materials will be provided. Everything you'll use is professional materials for a more enjoyable painting experience.

A full refund can only be given within 14 days from the initial date of booking. You can reschedule your class provided I am given at least 7 days' notice before your class date. Unfortunately, I am unable to change any bookings if less than 7 days' notice is given.

This class was okay overall but there were a few ways in which I felt it was lacking. There were no birds of paradise plants present which we were meant to be painting and no photos of it either. As I don’t know what it looks like it was very hard to know what to paint. Sometimes the tutor would get the photo up on his phone and show us but this felt very uncomfortable and inconvenient for everyone to have to keep asking him to show us a reference picture on his phone. Also it was an incredibly basic class. We didn’t even cover color theory which was one of the main reasons I wanted to attend the class. I’d say overall there was little instruction and I personally would’ve appreciated a more. I’d say the class was overpriced for what the experience was but generally the tutor was nice and the studio space was a nice environment.

We had a lovely time in this class, during which Ishbel taught us different watercolour techniques, and patiently guided us through the birds of paradise painting, giving us tips and encouragements along the way.
It’s a great class, made all the better by a great teacher!

This is the second class I've done with Alma and it was great! Completely different working with watercolours but Alma walked us through it step by step and explained different techniques. I would love to go to another of her water colour classes to keep working at it.

Alma is a fantastic teacher. I'm an absolute beginner and her watercolour class was educational, relaxing and resulted in a lovely painting at the end of the session. We had the chance to learn about best practice and technique which have given me a base to keep painting on my own. I had a fantastic time and would recommend her classes to anyone - thanks Alma!

I had the most wonderful evening at Alma's beautiful studio learning a new skill that I had always wanted to learn. Alma is a fantastic, warm and encouraging teacher who explains and demonstrates the techniques needed to create a first watercolour to be proud of! The calming and freeing environment Alma has created (plus the lovely drinks and snacks included) really enable you to connect with your creativity and completely get lost in the process! I totally lost track of time and came away wanting more! I can't recommend highly enough and I look forward to my next class with Alma.

Great introduction to watercolours! Great progression from absolutely basics to finishing by painting a piece to be proud of. Would recommend to anyone who wants to give watercolours a go! Alma is very approachable and welcoming.

i had such a wonderful afternoon. having never used water colour before the learning was great but Alma also creates a relaxed and non judgemental atmosphere which is so positive. loved it. And the coffee was good too!

What a lovely way to spend an afternoon! Alma was a brilliant teacher, very patient and encouraging. Alma kindly allowed us all to stay after the class had finished so we could finish our pieces, she really went the extra mile to make sure we got as much out of the class as possible. Alma was very patient and made sure I got the most of the session. I was quite slow compared to others but Alma waited till I finished my painting and helped me with the technicalities without rushing me. I thoroughly enjoyed the class.

I would absolutely recommend this class to anyone. You will receive great advice and Alma's full attention while working on your painting. I enjoyed the clam atmosphere and the fact that only a limited number of people can participate. In the end I had to leave earlier and Alma gave me colours to finish my painting at home. Really happy with the whole experience. As someone who didn't paint for years, I found the class easy to follow and feel more confident to start painting again.

I cannot recommend Alma more! She is so talented and patient with her students and you can tell she genuinely cares and wants you to enjoy the class as much as she does. Her studio in SW is so lovely as well and she provides everything you need. I will definitely be going back to more of her classes.

This was a delightful class, Alma was fantastic and created a really welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. 2 hours flew by creating our paintings! We learnt the basics of watercolour which I’d never been taught despite painting plenty in the past and she shared lots of useful advice on various mediums. I’m delighted by the finished result which was mounted to take home and will make a great gift…

Alma was a wonderful teacher and gave a brilliant introduction to watercolour painting. She went through all the best paints, paper, types of brushes to use as well as brush strokes and water control.
I'd done a bit of watercolours before and was blown away with all the tips she gave. She really let us use our imagination and just paint how we wanted to after giving us some structure. Would bring my friends along to another class for sure!
My only downside was I had to travel home in the terrible weather and I lived on the other side of London so was long to get to!

Alma’s class was amazing, she was knowledgeable and an excellent mentor. We came with self taught skills in watercolor and guided us through various techniques, advising us how to improve and get the most out of our art styles. Overall, learned a lot, the atmosphere was calming and wholesome, Alma was a wonderful teacher and I recommend this experience 11/10

This class was great and have already recommended it to other friends. Myself and 3 other family members went with varying watercolor and artistic experience. Alma put everyone at ease straight away and taught us the basics, letting us have a practice before starting the birds of paradise piece. She is a great teacher and was able to spend time helping us individually to improve our technique but also give hints and tips to the whole group. Very talented artist and teacher. The only downside about the class was it wasn't long enough! Would love to go back and do another class!

I had a chance to attend Alma's Birds of Paradise class for a couple of hours. Alma has helped us understand how to start properly with watercolours, she taught us how to choose the right materials, brands, and surfaces. I really enjoyed the floral exercise as well before starting the main piece. This class exceeded my expectations. I'm coming back.

I never painted before but within two hours I have learned how to use a palette knife, perspective and choose complementary colours to make a professional painting. I cannot recommend enough Alma's class; starting from a very cosy environment, good music and drinks. Alma is very patient and approachable. I wish I could upload my finished painting here because seriously, what you'll learn here is good stuff.
