My daughter organised a one day portrait workshop with Katya for my birthday. It was my first time working with oils or doing a portrait. Katya put me at my ease and quickly got me down to work. She helped me get underway and explained techniques for working with oils. She gave me space to work at my own pace, gave constructive and positive feedback and helped me when I got stuck. By the end of the day I had a workable portrait to take home. It was intense, hugely enjoyable. and has given me confidence to work on my own. Katya is a great teacher !!

Absolutely fantastic experience ! Katerina is an extremely knowledgeable and friendly art teacher . I am an absolute beginner and I have created something that I never believed I could achieve. Fantastic class to relax and learn something new . Lunch was great and guidance and support I received was fantastic. Highly recommend this class , I will definitely be back

I've dabbled with painting over the years but have never really understood any techniques and I wanted to learn how to prepare a canvas, what brushes and paint to use and anything else technical that might help me. I learnt so much from Katya, everything I wanted to know and then quite a bit more. I left feeling really bouyed, more confident and wanting more. I highly recommend Katya as a teacher, a generous host (she gave me a lovely lunch and a glass of wine) and a lovely person. You will leave inspired!
