  • Had a really enjoyable art class using oils and acrylics to create a choice of my own artwork, and Katya was very patient and gave support which was great. The lunch and wine was a great addition to the class too. Will definitely go again!!!!

  • I have previously booked a class for two as a gift for my partner. HOWEVER she kept texting me to move. Which was fine. I waited a month. She then again proceed to ask me of I wanted to move the date again or an refund. Which I ended up asking for an refund. As my dates are no longer free. She has been making up excuses saying that she has contacted obby and will refund me! This has been over months. And she still has NOT refunded me and now has stopped responding to my message. She is an absolutly an SCAM! Obby has not have any confirmation from her end either. I was nice and patience but this is absolutely unacceptable! I paid £ 100 for a class thinking this will be a lovey day out but turned into an SCAM

  • My daughter organised a one day portrait workshop with Katya for my birthday. It was my first time working with oils or doing a portrait. Katya put me at my ease and quickly got me down to work. She helped me get underway and explained techniques for working with oils. She gave me space to work at my own pace, gave constructive and positive feedback and helped me when I got stuck. By the end of the day I had a workable portrait to take home. It was intense, hugely enjoyable. and has given me confidence to work on my own. Katya is a great teacher !!

  • It was absolutely amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and learnt more about painting in general. Katya(the artist) was amazing, she gave us useful helpful tips throughout and was also so friendly. I highly recommend others to give this a go, it’s worth the money . You won’t be disappointed:)

  • Absolutely fantastic experience ! Katerina is an extremely knowledgeable and friendly art teacher . I am an absolute beginner and I have created something that I never believed I could achieve. Fantastic class to relax and learn something new . Lunch was great and guidance and support I received was fantastic. Highly recommend this class , I will definitely be back

  • I've dabbled with painting over the years but have never really understood any techniques and I wanted to learn how to prepare a canvas, what brushes and paint to use and anything else technical that might help me. I learnt so much from Katya, everything I wanted to know and then quite a bit more. I left feeling really bouyed, more confident and wanting more. I highly recommend Katya as a teacher, a generous host (she gave me a lovely lunch and a glass of wine) and a lovely person. You will leave inspired!

  • Attended Katya’s art lesson which included lunch on Friday. My friend and I found Katya very friendly, helpful and generous with her time and advice and tips. We were able to have one to one tuition which was very informative and helpful. We both had fun and both came away surprised that we were able to create and produce a finished painting. Katya caters to all levels. We were beginners and learnt a lot. We would recommend this course to anyone thinking of taking that first step into painting plus you will have fun too.

  • Where to start? My class got cancelled despite the site stating '8 spaces' left. I contacted Katya who so kindly allowed me to still take part in the class as my friends had already booked. Upon arriving, I was taken aback by how small the studio was and unsure exactly how it would fit 5 people let alone 12! The studio was small, cluttered and lacking in ventilation which is not great on a hot Summer's day, let me tell you. I got over my initial shock as the lady seemed nice enough. We were offered a drink and snacks, which were dished out in what appeared to be the most unhygienic matter. I worried for my health which was a necessary worry but that's another story. At the end of the class, she asked me to pay again as the first attempt was cancelled. I was skeptical. A week later, still no refund. I tried to contact her a few times. No response. The cons outweigh the pros by far. I would never return.

  • Katya is an amazing teacher! We enjoyed a fantastic session with her at Wimbledon Art Studios for my birthday. She took two complete newbies to art on a fantastic journey over the course of a few hours. I can’t believe that we left the session with a lovely painting in oil each.

  • Katya was really nice and the class was fun! We learned some technics to paint with acrylics and oil! Nice length of class and she also prepare us lunch and offer some wine :) totally recommend both if you're a beginner or just trying to perfection your painting skills!
