What happens in this class?

We provide weekly art classes for adults, personalising the programme to each individual student.

In our art workshops, you will have the option to create a linocut print, hand-build with clay, or create an experimental watercolour masterpiece!

Clay: You will be using air-drying nylon reinforced clay to hand build a lovely coil pot or bowl to take home with you! You may have the opportunity to paint your bowl during this course. If you are unable to finish, you are welcome to take it home or book another class to complete your piece.

Things to remember

No need to bring any materials, just keep in mind to wear clothes or an apron that you don't mind getting messy!

I was really excited to try out linocut printing and this 2 hour drop in class provided the perfect opportunity. Vickie guided me through the process and provided all the materials. I was really thrilled by the results and the new skill that I have acquired. Needless to say I thoroughly recommend this class to anyone who wants to try out something new and have fun doing it. I will be back soon to try out pottery.

Vicki is brilliant.... she is there , quiet but always ready to help as you work towards your creative goal. She helped me realise a project using wine bottle corks, and I am absolutely delighted with it (and myself). The venue too is perfect...good day light , cosy and inviting.

I wanted to come to an art class to relax and make something beautiful, this was exactly that! I made a pop art painting that I can now put on a wall and had a great time, would definitely recommend.
