With Nadia's guidance and instruction you will be taught the basics on how to measure and create a block pattern to take away with you. With the trend working towards reducing and reusing you are able to shape and draft clothing that fits you the way you want, making it more wearable and longer lasting in your closet. With your new found skills after taking our class, you will be on your way to being able to restyle clothing you already have as well as creating brand new garments. This is a class for beginners and hobbyists to pattern making, but it’s best to have knowledge of how to use a sewing machine in advance. With this class you will not be taking a finished garment home with you, just a pattern ready for sewing. DUMEBI are offering an intermediate to advanced embroidery class at their Boutique & Atelier In Chelsea London where all the magic happens and where they create all their handmade designs worn by celebrities. During this 2 hour a week, 6 weeks intermediate to advanced Embroidery course you will be using the same structure as the 6 weeks beginner course just more advanced and more time to develop your skills. You will be taught the following various embroidery techniques: 1st week- hand embroidery using metallic thread on calico 2nd week- machine embroidery (freehand) using metallic threads and the freehand foot on a domestic sewing machine. A great way to learn how to embroider your own unique designs without the use of a digital embroidery machine - you will be able to create embroidery designs from home with your domestic sewing machine without having to invest in a very expensive embroidery machine. 3rd week- beadwork - creating 3D Embroidery samples using beads and crystals. 4h & 5th week - appliqué - you will cut out intricate lace pieces and create a lace appliqué Embroidery sample 6th week - you will make a small sample using the combined techniques learned on this course
