4.5 hour class
You will be eased into this One-Day Burgundy Wine School with tea, coffee and biscuits, before launching into a tasting of ten Burgundies, comparing the wines and listening to the differing views of all.
You will cover the quality hierarchy of Burgundy and the key characteristics that this region is famous for, including Grand Cru, Premier Cru and village wines. This will be followed with a Burgundy-themed luncheon, for which the Berry Bros. & Rudd Head Chef will design a three-course repast. Alongside the food we will taste five more villages, including Clos de Vougeot, Corton Charlemagne, Volnay…
Wines for this event will be chosen from Berry Bros. & Rudd’s stock at the time of the event, so most will be available to order afterwards.Please note, the dress code is smart casual.
