Sampling a variety of six wines with two complimentary cheeses each, this class teaches attendees how to serve and harmonise the cheese and wine for different occasions. You need not be an aficionado of either cheese or wine to enjoy and benefit from this masterclass - simply bring your palette and enjoy 'wowing' your guests at your next event.
In this class
Guided by experienced cheese mongers, the Cheese with Wine class involves the sampling of 12 cheeses in total, two for each of the six different wines. Whilst you try the delicious samples and taste a fine selection of wines, Buchanan's affineurs will explain how each wine is complimented and the justification behind each pairing.

If you book onto the 27th of April class you will take a tour of some of the exceptional wines of the New World and experiment with matching them to some of Britain's best new cheeses from up-and-coming cheesemakers. You might discover a new favourite.

In 1995, the world's largest block of cheese was created - weighing 57,518 lbs. and measuring 23 by 4.5 feet - You would need a lot of wine to sample all of that!
