This class was brilliant! The teacher gave us plenty of time to go over the skills before we got to create our very own piece - very helpful, great atmosphere and the end piece looked great!

I really enjoyed the class. It was great to learn a technique I didn't really know anything about. I took it because I think it will help my dexterity with my other projects.

I found the class to be a nice mix of an introduction through cutting practice and guided instruction followed by the freedom to work on a bigger piece to take home. Despite wielding a blade, I found paper cutting very hypnotic and zen. Kip was great, and the studio was both in a convenient location and a relaxing atmosphere to while away a few hours. I’ll definitely be taking the map cutting class in the near future! Would recommend to anyone wanting to try out a new and addictive craft!

This was a fantastic course in the lovely Creative Happy London workshop. The teacher, Kip has years of experience in paper cutting and was able to provide great instruction and advice. I was able to achieve a lot more than I'd anticipated. Shame I can't post a picture.

I absolutely loved Kip’s instruction and careful guidance. It’s one of the lesser know craft forms and is perfect way to go into zone and unwind after a hectic day - and involves no screens. The studio and crafters are great too. I am inspired and will do Kip’s map cutting course next. Definitely check it out!!!

I enjoyed creating something out of paper, and ended up with a finished piece of a squirrel holding an acorn. I found the class informative, and pretty interesting, but I would like to see more choice in the cutting patterns - there was 1 design, nothing to choose from, more variety.

I really enjoyed the intro to papercutting class - it was super friendly and well organised and in the two hours we managed to practise different techniques, as well as finish a picture to take home. I'd really recommend it!

I became acquainted with Kip's kirigami through Instagram; I think it is beautiful and inspiring. That's why I jumped at the chance to take a course in paper cutting through Happy Creative London. The class was small - only three of us - which meant that we received a considerable amount of one-on-one coaching and explanation from Kip. The course was well-organized and designed to provide people with a variety of backgrounds the opportunity to discover and improve their use of this art. The materials provided were ample for filling the two hours, and also meant that each of us left the class with a fun souvenir and plenty of ideas about how to use kirigami in a wide variety of projects. I would definitely recommend Creative Happy London to friends!

This was a very informal and relaxed class with great instruction from Kip, who makes it very easy for beginners to have a go at paper cutting. The time flew by and by the end of the evening I had slightly sore fingers and my own version of one of Kip's simpler designs - not a patch on the amazing pictures he creates at Kartegraphik but nevertheless a very pleasing result. A fun class which I would recommend to anyone new to paper cutting. Marian
