A brilliant experience of learning to paper cut with Kip. He very kindly took the time to prep up my map of the area surrounding our house. I didn't get it finished int he two and a half hours, but I feel confident that I have the skills to finish it on my own. I do live in Central London so I guess there were rather more cuts needed than if I lived in the countryside!! I've signed up to do another one.

An absolutely fantastic class with the lovely Anna. I made two brooches and a pendant out of glitzy metallic leather. Anna was really talented and informative, and Gabriella's studio environment is fabulous. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved Kip’s instruction and careful guidance. It’s one of the lesser know craft forms and is perfect way to go into zone and unwind after a hectic day - and involves no screens. The studio and crafters are great too. I am inspired and will do Kip’s map cutting course next. Definitely check it out!!!

This was a fantastic course in the lovely Creative Happy London workshop. The teacher, Kip has years of experience in paper cutting and was able to provide great instruction and advice. I was able to achieve a lot more than I'd anticipated. Shame I can't post a picture.

I was a little apprehensive I admit - but need not have worried. A lovely, warm (in temperature as well as mood) and professional art studio run by a skilled and empathetic tutor. Having all the materials on hand was a 100% bonus (trying to buy recommended materials is a nightmare if you are not familiar with the art form). 5 stars to Gabriela!

My husband and I spent a fantastic evening experimenting with gold foil on a variety of fabrics using different techniques of heat transfer foil. We stencilled, free hand painted and did lots of other cool stuff. A must do for anyone working with textiles.

Great class and I was very pleased with the final product. Kip was very helpful in guiding me through the trickier bits and was fun to chat to over the afternoon as we worked.

I absolutely loved this workshop! I've been wanting to do leather jewellery making for a while and so was delighted when I had the chance to sign up for this class. I was super happy with what I made (https://www.instagram.com/p/BeEa_DglbiY/?taken-by=me_backwards) and Anna was the perfect tutor - ready to share knowledge and ideas but also stand back and let me explore my creativity ^_^ This is the second workshop I've done at the Creative Happy London space and I adore it. Very cosy and intimate - great to be in with crafting and a cuppa! Definitely recommend.

I absolutely loved the workshop! Anna was fabulous and made the class very chiled as well as informative. I was particularly touched by how the workshop carried on even though I was the only attendee! Very nice to have so much attention. Making jewellery with leather is lovely so I'd recommend this.

Our time with Anna was really wonderful, from start to finish. The class was exactly what my partner and I were looking for and with the addition of great company. In her teaching, Anna is attentive but not over-bearing, guiding us through the processes involved in lino-printing and then letting us explore the medium. The setting was perfect - even down to calming background music - and Anna's friendly tone gave the day a calming atmosphere, despite our being quite productive! Well-recommended.

This was my first venture into a new craft for a number of years. The tutor was relaxed and friendly as well as being experienced and knowledgable about her craft. The venue was easy to find as there was exact directions given on the website. The studio was spacious and pleasant, a comfortable and interesting place to work in. I thoroughly enjoyed my evening and would happily attend another workshop with Anna.

This was a very informal and relaxed class with great instruction from Kip, who makes it very easy for beginners to have a go at paper cutting. The time flew by and by the end of the evening I had slightly sore fingers and my own version of one of Kip's simpler designs - not a patch on the amazing pictures he creates at Kartegraphik but nevertheless a very pleasing result. A fun class which I would recommend to anyone new to paper cutting. Marian

I became acquainted with Kip's kirigami through Instagram; I think it is beautiful and inspiring. That's why I jumped at the chance to take a course in paper cutting through Happy Creative London. The class was small - only three of us - which meant that we received a considerable amount of one-on-one coaching and explanation from Kip. The course was well-organized and designed to provide people with a variety of backgrounds the opportunity to discover and improve their use of this art. The materials provided were ample for filling the two hours, and also meant that each of us left the class with a fun souvenir and plenty of ideas about how to use kirigami in a wide variety of projects. I would definitely recommend Creative Happy London to friends!

I enjoyed creating something out of paper, and ended up with a finished piece of a squirrel holding an acorn. I found the class informative, and pretty interesting, but I would like to see more choice in the cutting patterns - there was 1 design, nothing to choose from, more variety.

I found the class to be a nice mix of an introduction through cutting practice and guided instruction followed by the freedom to work on a bigger piece to take home. Despite wielding a blade, I found paper cutting very hypnotic and zen. Kip was great, and the studio was both in a convenient location and a relaxing atmosphere to while away a few hours. I’ll definitely be taking the map cutting class in the near future! Would recommend to anyone wanting to try out a new and addictive craft!

I found the whole lesson very interesting and helpful. It's wonderful to turn up somewhere and leave with a new experience and also an object that is finished and ready to give as a gift, or keep of course.

Anna brought examples of her own artwork using metallic foils to show us the kinds of things that are possible and then guided us through the practicalities of the technique. She was very patient and gave individual attention to each one of us which was great. We all found Anna's class very inspiring and by the time we finished we had a few foiled pictures to take home - plus lots of ideas for further experiments! Highly recommended.

Three ingredients are needed for this class; creativity, patience and cute fabrics- I’ve been given all when I attended and I had a great time! Creative Happy London studio hosts a lot of different classes, and all teachers are nice!
