This 10-week course is aimed at people who have experience with glass and want to continue or start their own projects in kiln formed glass without the hindrance large classes.

You will be guided by Brett Manly, an experienced glass artist, in her beautifully light and well equipped glass studio.

There will be weekly firings, so within reason you should have your own work to take home each week.

Brett Manley is an artist who works with glass.

Brett is a full time artist who loves experimenting with the unexpected quirks that making kilnformed glass throws up. She uses glass to take the 2 dimensional into 3 dimensions, layering the glass and showing the spaces in between and within the glass. She also loves exposing glasses' light transmitting qualities and using its ability to obscure, reflect, project, reveal and alter to create optical illusion kinetic effects and other varying pieces.
