What you will do
Mittens are a perfect small project that will improve anyone's knitting. In the first week of the class we will learn to cast on in the round on double pointed needles (dpns) and increase for the thumb. In the second week we will work the decreases for the top, pick up stitches to knit the thumb and go over how to finish the mitten. We will also cover how to read patterns and make yarn choices for future projects, and how to customise the pattern later with different stitch patterns for a unique and individualised pair of mittens. We will also cover how to make fingerless mittens as a modification.
