Learn to Knit & Knit a Scarf – February – 3 x Sessions | Obby

In this 3 week series you will learn the fundamentals of knitting! Keep your fingers busy and your neck warm with this easy to follow stripy scarf!

Week One – Learn to identify fibre, weights and equipment for knitting. Create a sampler, covering casting on, knot stitch, changing colour and and casting off. Then cast on your scarf!

Week Two & Three – Knitting your scarf – Learn how to follow or adapt a pattern, and knit your scarf & finish your scarf!

Will this class be suitable for me?

You need zero experience to join this workshop. In this class you will learn the fundamentals of learning to knit. And by the end of it you will be a confident beginner knitter x

What happens if I am late?

Please be on time. It would be grand if you arrive at the studio 5 minutes before the class starts to ensure you settle in and can start promptly. You will be turned away if you are late. We have lots to get through and being late to group classes is disruptive and unfair to everyone. Not cool dude.

What if I can't make a session?

You may not complete your scarf. Please ensure you are able to make all 3 sessions before booking its more valuable that way, and you’ll get your moneys worth.

What is the minimum age to attend?

We are happy to host well behaved people 10+ with an accompanied adult. It’s a great activity to get them off screens and into knitting for sure!

Amazing experience in particular if you are a complete beginner and you are trying to learn how to knit. Brooke is very helpful and friendly. Now I'm about to start making a baby blanket and a beanie on my own!
