Two session course
Learn to knit a hat in the round. This 2 week class will cover knitting in the round on double pointed needles, reading a pattern and decreases. Learning to knit in the round is an essential skill for any knitter to have under their belt. Just think of all the things that can be made in the round, without having to sew up any bulky or fiddly seams! This class is perfect for beginners who are confident with casting on and knitting and purling stitches. In the first week we will learn the basics of following a pattern, cast on in the round on double pointed needles, and work the ribbed brim. In the second week we will work the decreases for the top and finish the hat off, as well as troubleshoot any questions that have come up.
