Knitting - adjusting knitwear to fit a fuller bust

I loved it. I feel like I learned a lot.

Wow, this class was awesome! I learned so much from where to place adjustments to what kinds of patterns work best with different kinds of adjustments. Jacki is patient and so helpful and answered questions I didn’t even know I had! If you have curves that you want to show off and make look great in your knits this class is a great tool.

Jacki was absolutely wonderful at explaining how to adjust patterns, even ones with cables, to enable a better fit. She explained things thoroughly and I found her warm, welcoming and friendly.

I've been a knitter for decades and thought I knew a lot about how to adjust for my 'unique' size. I learned SO much and feel more excited than ever to now go and make my knits fit better. Jackie not only taught the concepts of HOW to adjust your knitting but she also explained how that adjustment then looks on your body, including showing examples from her own knitwear. A MUST attend class for any busty knitter!

Jackie leveled the workshop instruction to the specific expertise in the room (and we ranged from designer colleagues to intermediate knitter) and her methodology was immediately applicable for me---even on a sweater with a pattern on the front. Much better fits from patterns that used to hang on me. The workshop contained some last pieces of understandings which supported a shift in my final products: I am now knitting sweaters that look like they were handmade for me, not just handmade by me. Craftwear to couture in a few easy hacks. And she explained the technique so clearly that I can also intuit how to apply the same sizing shifts in other categories of build. Worth every penny and minute of my time the workshop required.

This was a great introduction to the idea that knits could be made to fit those of us with larger busts. Explanations were thorough and clear leaving me feeling I could tackle making this work in future! Thank you Jacki.

I'm a new knitwear designer and it's important to me that my patterns work for as many bodies as possible. I'm not blessed with a fuller bust, but I learned so much about the common issues that knitting patterns can have for bustier people. There were great examples of how to apply shaping techniques to a host of different garments and a great discussion at the end. I've not put any learnings into practice yet, but knowing I can go back and access the slides in the future is a valuable resource!

The fuller bust session gave me some great ideas on how to improve adjustments to patterns and avoid all the guesswork and frogging that I normally do!

This is the second workshop i've had with Jacki (first being colourwork), and i've loved and valued both. Jacki provides a class that is structured enough to cover everything that needs covering, but also casual/fluid enough to allow for questions and discussion, all whilst being clear, personable, and funny. This class works for both knitters and designers and I can't wait to start using what i've learnt from her classes! I can't recommend these classes enough, thank you!!

The class was fantastic, really informative and helpful. It's one thing to read a pattern and the instructions for shaping but it doesn't explain what is happening or help you use the ideas elsewhere. Jacki gave clear descriptions and explanations, and did a great job of answering all questions. I now feel confident in studying a pattern and adapting it (or at least having a go) for myself. I will, however, be trying one of Jacki's patterns with the instructions included first.

The "knit to fit your tits" workshop was great. I'm working on a sweater now and can't wait to experiment with one of the several options Woolly Badger recommended and taught to us. The class size was perfect. The instruction was clear and informative. I would definitely take another class.

As always, Jacki was super clear with her explanations and made some really tricky concepts make perfect sense. She had plenty of examples and answered questions clearly. Shame that Sophie cat didn't attend :D
