Ros Millar & Milena Kovanovic are two close friends and award winning jewellery designers & makers - they founded The Ringsmiths in January 2019.

 Ros  launched her luxury fashion jewellery brand 'Ros Millar' in 2010. Using traditional techniques in a modern way to create her Gothic luxe aesthetic.  Ros recently opened her first bricks & mortar store in London 'Kas & Ros' in November 2018.

Milena, founder of jewellery brand 'Crucible London' has been making fine jewellery for 13 years since graduating from Central Saint Martins and is a qualified gemmologist.  Her passion for gemstones often takes her travelling around the world to source stones and find inspiration for her jewellery collections.

The Ringsmiths 

Learn the art of wax carving with The Ringsmiths' at home kit and make your very own sterling silver ring bespoke to you. 

Lockdown has made it a little difficult for us to go out and do the things we love. So, we have been working hard behind the scenes to bring one of our much loved classes to you -  but from the comfort of your own home. Hooray!!!!

With our kit you will be provided with all the tools you need, wax pre-sized to fit, a second wax to practice in, and an envelope and protective tin to return your wax to us to have it cast in sterling silver.  

The great news is you won't be restricted on time, so you can spend as long as you like on it! And, even better with your very own set of tools to keep.  We will also be offering a top up kit from £10 with extra waxes, to anyone who has purchased the kit for you to continue your new hobby.

All of our kits come in beautiful packaging that is sustainable and environmentally friendly! The mailer, box and protective packing can be reused, recycled, are biodegradable and compostable! The pouches your tools come in are made of organic cotton! We encourage you to reuse and recycle.

There’s lots of inspiration and design ideas of rings that have been created in the wax.

We’ve attached a copy of our gem catalogue too. 

If there’s a particular stone that is not featured you can request this from us directly and we can source it for you. 

When choosing a stone please make sure that you have allowed enough wax to surround your stone. 

We need at least 1mm all the way around. There are lots of examples of setting styles included on our instagram account. 
We can set the stone flush into your ring on a textured or smooth area. There’s also a ‘star’ setting where you have a star engraved around the stone. All setting costs are included with the stone price.
