Design Your Own Silver Ring with The Ringsmiths at Oxo Tower Wharf

I took a friend here for a birthday treat and we both really enjoyed it. The space is simply but nicely decorated with plenty of natural light for the task! Juliette was excellent and running through the basics and helping everyone carve out their unique designs within the time constraints. We can’t wait to pick up the finished product in a few weeks time! Thank you

We were maybe an hour into our ringsmithing adventure when I turned to my friend and said, "this is so much fun that there's got to be a law on the books against it somewhere." Seriously, it's THAT fun. Juliette was a brilliant teacher who kept it light but also had practical guidance that helped us bring our designs to life. I can't wait to come back!

What a fabulous morning we had at Ringsmiths. Started with a very useful demo on how to work with ours mould to make a ring. The two ladies are on hand to help and advice. Lots of fun would love to do it again.

Not only was Juliet a wonderful teacher, showing us the do’s and don’ts and carefully explaining each step. She was funny and friendly and really made our experience more personal and enjoyable. Our group was smaller and meant that we got more 1-1 time with her to show us how to make our ring but we also got to know each other and her more. We had lots of laughs together and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The rings we made were really personal and could not be happier with the end product. My boyfriend and I could not stop raving about the experience on the way home and would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend to anyone else!!!

Milena was so welcoming and the studio (Waterloo) was easy to find and cosy inside. You have complete creative freedom but really useful help when needed. The experience from start to finish was amazing we travelled 4 hours for it! The two girls were fab, they explained everything so well, had patient, great sense of humour and bounced off each other and created such a lovely environment! The 2 hours flew buy and it was great! They were happy to help with everything and made sure everyone was happy with their creations! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone! The cocktails and sweets were a great touch too!

Fantastic experience, I booked this as a present for my father’s birthday. My parents and I had an absolutely amazing time. The ladies who ran the class em were friendly and made us feel very confident in trying this new activity, they filled us with confidence and passed on their skills. Highly recommended

Excellent workshop. If I may I would advise to have more refreshments like Prosecco and maybe savory nibbles as some people have conditions and it’s difficult to resist all the sugar on offer - thanks. I will look at doing another workshop again

We did the design your own silver ring workshop at the oxo wharf location and it was incredible from start to finish! I was unsure when we first got in whether id be able to make a ring, but the girls are so helpful and supportive and super informed on their craft and make it so much easier to understand! We made our wedding rings here and opted to have them made in 9kt gold and with finger prints and the girls made sure we knew everything about whats involved and costs etc… we’re from up north but will definitely be travelling back down at some point in the future as it was such a fun and different date idea! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience <3

I’ve done two Ringsmiths workshops now, one in London Bridge and one at the OXO Tower. The OXO Tower is a really lovely little studio and there are never too many people in one workshop so everyone has a chance to be shown different techniques and be given one on one help. Everyone was really lovely and on hand to help with anything we needed. You only get 1 drink, but to be honest you need to spend as much time as possible perfecting your ring so you don’t really have time for another.

My two sister’s and I enjoyed a Design Your Own Ring class with Ross and Milena. We had an amazing time! I learned so much about ring making and had a lot of fun. Ross and Milena are incredible. They were so patient and kind. They helped steer you in a way that brings out your artistic nature. Thank you so much for the memorable experience. If I could give them a million stars, I would!!! Don’t miss this taking one of their classes. We look forward to receiving our “works of art” soon as there is a 3 week + turn around time. We are from Canada, so our rings will be shipped to us. My sister and I had the best afternoon doing the ‘design your own silver ring’ course. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and we created really cool rings despite not being overly artistic. I had a change of heart after leaving the studio and received an email response resolving the issue the next day. Would recommend to everyone!

My sister and I are from Texas and booked a Ringsmiths experience during our recent London vacation. It ended up being the absolute highlight of our trip! The Ringsmiths instructor was very kind, encouraging, and helpful. Our class was made up of 4 people total (plus 1 instructor) and conversation flowed as we each worked on designing our wax molds. Overall, I cannot recommend this experience enough! We will definitely be back!

Making a lost wax carving silver ring with the team was an amazing experience! My friend and I who took the class had never made jewelry before and gave it a try - the class was a great amount of time, and the jewelers here were helpful and encouraging with our ring designs and showing us the technique! I would recommend this class to anyone looking for something unique and special to do in London. Overall a great experience!!

This might have been the most wholesome workshop I’ve ever attended, our workshop leader was so wonderful, so attentive and so kind!! She explained every possible thing we could do and helped us every step of the way. I am super super excited to see how my ring will turn out but I highly recommend this workshop! My girlfriend and I had a really fun time crafting our rings. Milena and Maria were really great teachers and hosts and made us feel very welcome and provide loads of encouragement and advice on how to craft a ring which we would like. My girlfriend and I also really appreciated that they would step in when we needed help to provide a higher quality finish then what we ourselves were able to manage on our own. All in all I would definitely recommend this workshop!

The group atmosphere was really relaxed and friendly, and I felt that I learned such a lot in a short space of time. Most importantly, I'm really happy with the ring I designed. We had such a fun time at the Ringsmiths studio making our sculpted silver rings! We were given clear instructions/demos, all the tools and materials we needed, examples and inspiration, as well as a delicious cocktail (with a non-alcoholic option) and some sweets to keep us going. A helping hand was always available for when it got a bit tricky or fiddly so no matter your experience and ability (or lack of) you’ll end up with the ring of your dreams! Everyone was so lovely and made the experience so relaxing and enjoyable, will definitely be returning for another workshop soon :)

Great experience making the rings, arrived before estimated time, not too happy with the packaging as have seen other get theirs in nice little bags and ours arrived in tissue paper.

my boyfriend and i went for our valentines gifts to each other and we had SO much fun. i picked out a garnet and he got to do some engraving. i would absolutely do it again! i wish we had a little bit longer though as it felt a bit bake-off level with timings

Really enjoyed the session - it is fun, informative and the teachers were good. However, it would be better to have a shorter introduction and more time making - or a longer session overall. We only had 1 hour for making the ring which felt a bit rushed. Nice to have a cocktail but tea/coffee would have been nice for an 11am class. Also use of a toilet, having to walk downstairs to a cafe (where the toilets we out of use) isn't great for a £95 workshop. Overall, enjoyed it but felt a bit more time making might have resulted in a better ring.

I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and would highly recommend it. There were so many options for the types of ring that we could create and we were given lots of useful advice and tips from the team. The group was the perfect size and I really liked seeing what other people were working on. My only comment would be that it felt slightly rushed - ideally I think it should be 30 minutes longer.

I was arranging a friends 40th and wanted to do something different to the usual dinner and drinks. I had seen The Ringsmiths ring design classes online and just loved how the set up looked. Needless to say I and the girls were not disappointed. We were welcomed to the class and felt immediately comfortable. The cocktail and sweets provided added to the day and we felt no pressure to add more to our designs. It was so much fun! We arranged delivery to my address for ease and when the designs came ( exactly on time 😃) we were all amazed at the quality of the silver and materials. Great class! My partner and I attended the 'Make a Silver Ring' in 2021 and really enjoyed the experience, so we were happy to return for the 'Design Your Own Silver Ring' session, this time at Oxo Tower Wharf. The instructor was really friendly and we enjoyed the small class as each person was able to get support and advice when designing the ring. Location is easy to get too, and my partner loved all the adds ons available (he went for quite a few!). Thoroughly enjoyed the cocktail! Just received the text saying our rings were ready to collect this morning, so very excited to see the end result! Have recommended The Ringsmiths to a number of my mates!

Such an amazing ring making workshop. The workshop was really in-depth overview of how to create a ring that you will love. We were shown lots of different techniques to create a unique and personalised ring. There was also a wide range of jewels to choose from, as well as a choice of finishes. The teachers were definitely experts in the field which meant they could guide everyone with all of the techniques and gave great advice on stylistic choices.

Workshop was fine, good and detailed explanation with lots of rings to look at to help you with your design. However, it was incredibly expensive for what it was, having any minor additions or adjustments costing upwards of £30. Very disappointed with the fact that an emergency occurred that caused us to lose time and we weren’t able to have an extra time to complete it. Then when wanting a refund due to circumstances out of our control, we had to explain heavily why we wanted one and have yet to actually receive the money a month after we were granted one.

Really fascinating and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Inspirational teaching and I loved that we were given a brief context and history related to working in silver via wax and shown a fantastic range of possible techniques. The active part of the class was also very well supported - I never felt I didnt know how to proceed and our two experienced jewellers on hand meant help and advice was immediately available.

Beautiful studio and really talented jewellers who helped. Strongly felt there wasn’t enough time, only had an hour to sculpt the ring, I’d have paid to stayed longer. Overall I have a ring I don’t really like as I couldn’t finish it in time. But I understand this is partially my own doing but I would like the option to stay longer.

Booked this class for my GF birthday present and it was such good fun! You’re looked after and guided through out whilst having the freedom to get creative and get really invested into making your our personal one of a kind ring! Going to recommend to family & friends! Buzzing to get our rings!

Very fun and unique experience that I got as a gift for our wedding anniversary so that we could design the rings exactly as we wanted and personalise them. The team were lovely and very helpful and the setting is great. I do think that the workshop should be longer as we didn't have time to finish polishing/embellishing etc and it felt very rushed towards the end. Once you go the bigger size and add plating overall the rings are not cheap, but you have something completely unique and bespoke to take home and we really love how they came out!

Had such a great time at the design your own silver ring workshop. Was just the right amount of info for a rookie to jewellery making and using the wax meant it was forgiving enough if something went wrong. Milena was really attentive and patient and made it feel like we we just there with another friend. Would highly recommend. Can’t wait to see what the actual ring looks like!

Was so much fun! I’m not creative at all but really enjoyed picking a design and carving it out. The instructors were so friendly and helpful and guided us until we got to our finished ring. I’d definitely recommend this as a gift, we really enjoyed

The Design Your Own Silver Ring workshop was simply PERFECT! Ros and Milena where great and my ring is beautiful. I was thinking about getting a new ring but couldn't really find one I liked, but then found the Ringsmiths and thought it was the perfect opportunity to learn something new and create my next ring. The workshop was beautiful, easy to get to (being right next to Blackfriars station), and Peppa the dog was always about to keep us entertained while we were busy carving (she doesn't like the postman very much by the sounds of it). The process itself was easy to do and your imagination really is the limit. Ros and Milena were really encouraging and enthusiastic about our ideas and helping bring them to life. The delight on Milena's face when I said I wanted to make a dinosaur was wonderful. (Yes, I'm the person who made the dinosaur ring if it gets mentioned in your class!) The time flew by but with regular time checks and guidance, it was plenty of time to design the ring I wanted. The turn around time once you've carved it was great too, and even with hallmarking, it was still very reasonably priced and a good turn around time with good communication about when I could come and pick it up. I have been raving about The Ringsmiths to many of my friends, and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone. I hope to come back to do some of their other courses at some point, especially the design your own wedding rings one, I DEFINITELY want to do that... when I've found a partner of course haha. I can't express my gratitude enough to the Ringsmiths for setting up this course and for making the whole experience so brilliant. I can't stress enough how much I loved it and would recommend it to ANYONE!!!

Wow, what a fun and creative day. I felt guided through the entire ring making process and the knowledgeable instructors/jewellers really encouraged me to create the perfect ring for me. It's a lovely feeling to know that you have hand carved a unique piece of jewellery just for you. I would highly recommend this class and will definitely be booking to go again with a friend.

Great fun, everyone was so lovely and the atmosphere was super relaxed. Probably said five times within the last 24hrs that we can't wait to pick our rings up!!

Amazing experience!!! Enjoyed every minute. Even if you think you wouldn't be able to make it as you are as creatively challenged as I, the artists help you along the way and we had 3 artists for a class of 10 which felt like there was always someone available. Quality of the workshop is incredible & will and have already, reccomend. Only thing I would suggest as feedback is we are so in the moment that we don't take any photos on special days so perhaps one of thr artists could take a few photos of the class and post online?

Such a lovely class to take. Teachers are wonderful and so helpful. Only problem is that there wasn’t enough time!! (I could have gone with a simpler design though) Overall, would highly recommend.

Loved it! Was a roughly enjoyable experience. You are in very capable and knowledgable hands. Friendly and helpful you wouldn’t step a foot wrong crafting your ring and guided you to make your vision come to life.

I loved the workshop. I can not wait to see the final results. I really want to join the "Make your own silver ring" also. Hopefully soon. The location of "Design your own Silver Ring" was amazing. I loved the Oxo Tower. The tutors were very helpful and the space was really clean. Moreover I loved the chosen building; Oxo Tower. The view was also outstanding!

Amazing introduction to ring making - it was a perfect balance of teaching, hands on learning and support along the way. The team are clearly experts of their craft and super encouraging. Can't wait to see what they helped me create :) P.S. the beautiful space was made extra special by the most adorable little pup :)

Such a lovely way to spend an afternoon. The whole experience was absolutely superb. We would perhaps have liked a little longer to continue the process but this is something that I would definitely want to do again.

Most amazing class! Had so much fun creating my very own bespoke and unique ring. Ros was great at explaining how to carve our rings and the different techniques. Great idea for birthday gifts, I booked this class for me and my bestest friend and he really enjoyed it too 🥰

Me and my friend had such a great time with the Ringsmiths. They were very patient with my indecision and have just the right amount of guidance giving us enough space to use our imaginations!
