What you will do
15 minute workshop
In this class, all techniques involved in making chains and working with wire will be covered. This includes drawing, annealing and making and soldering jump rings. You can focus on learning as many chain patterns as you like during the day or alternatively, you can focus on finishing one piece of jewellery, such as a chain ring, bracelet or necklace. Patterns which you will learn about, and enjoy are rope chain, curb chain or loop-in-loop chain.
Chain making is enjoyable to anyone who likes repetitive processes. Once you start chain making you will find it addictive!
10g of silver is included in the cost. However, if you use any more during the class, you are more than welcome to purchase it from Made by Ore on the day at trade price.
