Amelia was a really friendly and helpful instructor. It was great fun and really interesting. I would definitely recommend to do the wheel thrown pottery introduction session! Thank you for the great experience :)

I thought the workshop was ok - did what it said on the tin, but really far too many people in the class so the poor tutor was rushed off her feet. The real problem has been trying to collect my pottery. I took the course 7 weeks ago, have contacted Go Create on a number of occasions but have heard nothing from them. I also found out that there are only very limited times that they are open for collections - One hour on Sunday pm, and Mon and Tues eves which are useless for me as I work in central London. This should have been made clear before you took my money!

Brilliant! Great teacher and an Amazing way to spend a couple of hours!
Nikita - 6 January 2019
We liked Emilia, who led the class, but sadly we spent quite a bit of time waiting for support as we had 2 people arrive 15 minutes late and who missed the intro and needed much more extra attention. It would be great to have handouts with the steps to be able to properly follow or even a little mailing prior to the first class to be able to follow the class better. One teacher for a group of 8 is not really enough, it seemed as there would be two teachers when reading the past reviews, that would have been more worthwhile and a better price quality ratio.
Emma - 13 November 2018
Had such a fun, informative time. Highly recommend this course.
Caroline - 5 November 2018
Really enjoyed the course. The instructor was excellent and explained the techniques really well. There was lots of opportunity to practice as well as keeping 2 pieces to be fired. Would love to take a further course.
Naziya - 17 September 2018
The session was good fun! Ended a bit earlier than expected but Amelia was a good teacher 👍🏽
Jackie - 30 July 2018
Such a great lesson! Can't wait to pick up my pottery creations!
Claire - 29 July 2018
This was a wonderful introductory workshop. Attentive and helpful instructor. Just about enough time to make three pots (for beginners).
Eleanor - 24 July 2018
I really enjoyed the pottery workshop. It was fun, therapeutic and the teaching style was wonderful! Can't wait to see the finished pots!
Catherine - 23 July 2018
Excellent way to spend an afternoon and very satisfying too! Amelia was a good teacher and once we'd been through the basics I was off creating vases, bowls and dishes. The time flew by and by the time we finished I had something pretty decent to show for my efforts. Thanks Amelia 😄
Josepha - 23 July 2018
The class was really nice, the teacher demonstration was very good and she helped us throughout the class to achieve what we wanted. I would recommend it for staters.
Gillian - 2 July 2018
I had no previous experience but Amelia did a brilliant demonstration and explained everything in a detailed and fun way. My other half had some experience and said that she explained more in an hour than he learned in three college classes! Brilliant workshop and excellent value for money. Would definitely do it again.
Daniel - 12 June 2018
Overall the experience was great, a lovely way to spend time creatively with friends/family. Perhaps too many people booked into one session. One less would’ve been good. Instead of 9, perhaps 8 or 7. Apart from that, enjoyable!
Ariana - 11 June 2018
Amelia was an absolutely great teacher, and the pottery class was a great gift for my mum - we had an absolute blast! Looking forward to collecting my masterpieces in a month :)
Orn - 21 May 2018
It is a very nice & fun class. Cannot imagine that we can make pottery in 2 hour!
David - 15 May 2018
Such a fun experience! Clear and friendly guidance by our highly skilled tutor, step-by-step instruction for us first-timers and a thoroughly enjoyable morning throwing pots, very highly recommended!
Kip - 15 May 2018
This was my first ever pottery lesson , first Obby experience & first time I’ve done anything like this on my own....which is why I’m so grateful for how chilled out & comfortable the class felt. My teacher was really lovely & helpful throughout..I will definitely be back!:)
Harvey - 8 May 2018
Thoroughly enjoyed our introduction to wheel-throwing. Extremely helpful and friendly staff
Alison - 29 April 2018
This workshop was superb! The techniques were explained methodically and clearly and the hands on help throughout was great. Thoroughly enjoyable and would definitely recommend.
Jessica - 29 April 2018
Great!
Laura Jane - 17 April 2018
Loved this, everyone was really helpful, it's a great new skill which I'll definitely be doing again. Can't wait to see my finished pots!
Katharine - 16 April 2018
It was really good. The teachers were lovely but it would have been nice to have a more details visual instruction to refer to. As when the teachers were moving round the class it was difficult to remember all the steps.
Yuliya - 11 April 2018
Enjoyed the class a lot. Very good and detailed introduction which is essential if you are new to wheel throwing. Will be coming back!
Mahwish - 10 April 2018
The workshop was great fun. We had the chance to make different types of pots after being shown how to by the session leader. They were both very helpful and oversaw the session and assisted when needed.
Ramess - 9 April 2018
Highly recommend this class! Amelia the teacher was excellent very attentive. Throroughly rnjoyed the experience
Read - 9 April 2018
Amelia was a really enthusiastic teacher and I felt that I took away some clear skills from the class. I asked a lot of questions and it was an environment where you got plenty of one to one tuition if you felt unsure at any stage. I am excited to see how my creations turned out and thank you for firing and glazing them.
DeeMah - 8 April 2018
Lovely experience. would go for it again!
Harriet - 8 April 2018
Amelia was a great teacher, really enjoyed the session. Would love to come back!
ISABELLA - 5 March 2018
The class was wonderful, although the location was a little tricky to find. Paddy and Amy were fantastic and knew just when to teach closely, when to physically help and when to let us work on our own. I have now got 5 pieces waiting to be fired that I can't wait to see finished and use!
Amrita - 5 March 2018
Hi, I was very disappointed - the description said that there would be no more than 5 people taking the class and so you get lots of support from the 2/3 teachers, but in my class there was 9 people taking the class and so i spent some time waiting for support. It's not what i paid for. Extremely disappointed.
Marg - 2 March 2018
There were about 12 of us in a restricted space, and I thought the class would feel overcrowded but the tutor and assistant managed to make sure everyone was getting the help and advice they needed. The class was perfect for a total beginner, and It was a very enjoyable afternoon. Not good for disabled access, and the wheels were set low, which was a bit tricky for me, but like everyone else I made some pots to be proud of. I would g again. Thanks
Victoria - 26 February 2018
A great pottery class. Excellent value for money and very good teachers. Class was larger than advertised and we had different teachers than outlined but it was still an excellent experience and I would highly recommend it. The Obby team were also very communicative when I had questions and very helpful. I am hooked!
Kate - 26 February 2018
It was amazing and I will be back to do some more soon
Sarah - 25 February 2018
The class tutor was great and clearly very knowledgeable re pottery. The Obby representative however needs some training. He wasn’t very welcoming on arrival and was really unorganised. We were all crammed in a room with a watercolour class - the atmosphere was lacking as were clear instructions.
Robyn - 18 February 2018
Amelia is a fantastic teacher and very skilled potter. Thanks for your patience with us. Would recommend.
Peter - 8 February 2018
Very enjoyable, good facilities and great tutor.

Vishal - 14 January 2018
Great experience, the person running the workshop was incredibly friendly and patient. Was very enjoyable and different way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Would recommend to anyone considering to take part.

My boyfriend and I loved this class. It was a great bonding activity but also a welcomed real learning experience. The instuctor was absolutely amazing, kind, cheerful, knowledgeable and helpful. I have reccomended this class to others and will likely go again.
Taylan - 8 January 2018
Had a really great time at the workshop. Nam was a very good teacher and we managed to learn the basics in a short amount of time. Would recommend
Gaurav - 18 December 2017
Very good class however i felt there were too many people for one instructor and often you are waiting around. That being said the instructor was very attentive and very helpful when around so all in all it was a very good class as an intro.
Sony - 17 December 2017
It was a lovely space and una was helpful as a tutor. Enjoyed the class very much!
Dawn - 8 November 2017
A truly fantastic course, the lecturer was knowledgable and very patient. I made 4 pots and will go back in a month to collect the glazed items. Highly recommend
Kate - 8 November 2017

Bonnie - 7 November 2017
What an interesting, fun and different thing to do at the weekend. My partner and I had never done anything like this before and we have to say we really enjoyed it. Jeanette was really great, very helpful, calm , explained things well and made it a great class. She gave everyone enough time to make sure they produced something to be proud of. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get creative or give this a go. Great value for money
Jessica - 8 September 2017
Good workshop. It was a fantastic opportunity to practice since everyone has a wheel. The venue was however a bit hard to find.
Rachel - 22 August 2017
Lovely tutor, nice small class - well-taught with lots of very accessible demos and personal troubleshooting. Looking forward to collecting our pots!

Emma - 2 August 2017
Brilliant class!!! Great teacher very helpful and relaxed. Would just say that don't go for the gritted clay. My hands are in bits. Haha x
