What happens in this class?

We provide weekly art classes to adults, personalising the programme to each individual student.

In this one-off art session, you will choose from a variety painting or drawing projects and go home with a completed piece of art! You have the choice of creating a beautiful Ann Blockley watercolour painting, a John Waterhouse tonal stain painting or a gorgeous negative animal drawing (inverting the natural by drawing with white on black paper).

Things to remember

For our art class you won't need to bring any materials as we have everything here! Keep in mind to wear clothes or an apron that you don't mind getting messy.

India was so lovely, showed us lots of new techniques and gave gentle guidance but wasn’t intrusive. It was really relaxing and we had a great time

I absolutely loved this session. The time went by in a flash. India is excellent, timing her interventions so that she gives you new ideas and things to try, but not crowding you and giving you space to mess about....ehem...experiment.

I can definitely recommend the drop in session that I attended. In a very relaxed atmosphere I was able to learn various techniques and even produced a piece of art that I’m not embarrassed to show to friends. India is a wonderful tutor.
