We learnt how to draw hands. The venue was very nice and the instruction was good. I did feel that the lesson at £25 was a little bit pricey although there are discounts if you book more than one lesson.
Maurice Jones - 14 September 2019
I learned how to achieve the basic form of the head and neck by drawing a construction of circle rectangle and cylinder and there relation to the position of the head. A wonderful teacher who was friendly and informative and didn’t laugh at my efforts. I learnt a lot in the 2 hours I was there.

Excellent first class on this topic, focusing on quick gestural drawings from photos using wax crayons, which used on their side lend themselves to creating shapes without line. We captured several quick poses. We then did a couple of slightly longer pieces after Ilsa went through the importance of understanding how shapes join, and how the angles between elements are key to demonstrating gesture. Very thought provoking challenging class with plenty to take away. We were a mix of art students and amateurs, and all gained a lot from the evening.
