What happens in this class?

Join a mixed group of friendly intermediate-level woodcarvers who will be working on their own long-term projects. As a beginner, you will be given a simple project by the tutor, which will introduce you to the timber, tools and techniques most commonly used for woodcarving. By the end of the day you will have made a simple wall panel, which will make use of light and shadow, concave and convex surfaces, grain pattern, gouge marks and also be enhanced with a finish of oil or wax, and a wood stain.
