My 9yo daughter and I had a super time. Despite having never really used a sewing machine before, we both learned how to set up and use a machine, and both made a lovely bag. The lesson went at our pace and we came home and immediately got our sewing machine out to have another go. Highly recommend, the personal touch is so much better than trying to teach yourself with books or videos.

My daughter and I attended the ‘mummy and me sewing workshop’ and thoroughly enjoyed it. As complete beginners we were shown how the sewing machine works, how to prepare it and use it. During the 3 hours we even managed to make a tote bag each! It was a great workshop and we came away feeling like we had learnt a lot of new skills and excited to try again on a friends sewing machine. The lady who taught us was very patient and worked at our pace which was just what was needed, would definitely recommend.

My son and I had a fantastic morning learning to use the sewing machine and making our first bag. It was so useful and a great paced morning. He has gone on to make another 5 different styled bags straight away. Thank you!

My daughter and I had a lovely time at the mother and daughter session, especially being new to sewing. We made a cloth bag each & I even bought along my own machine which Rachel helped me set up too! I’ll definitely enrol onto another sewing session :-)
