Machine Embroidered lace bowl | Obby

Learn how to use free machine embroidery to create a beautiful stitched bowl using just threads and a few small fabric pieces.

Have fun learning how to use water soluble fabric, trap threads inside it and stitch on top of it to create a wonderfully lacey effect. Enjoy the fascinating process as we wash away the fabric to leave your delicate stitching in place.

Experiment using different colours to create a multicoloured bowl that is strong and sturdy once dry.

Your bowl will need max 48 hours to dry completely. With this technique the possibilities are endless!

Do I need to have experience of machine embroidery?

No experience is necessary. I will teach you everything you need to know.

What is included in the class?

As well as all tuition , we provide all materials needed. Light refreshments (tea/coffee/biscuits) also provided
