This hands-on class will refresh the basic sewing machine skills of participants, alongside a series of hands on exercises and demonstrations by Barley, giving you the basic practical understanding in how to tackle simple sewing alterations, repairs and 'upcycling'.

This session precedes an afternoon class 'Refresh your Wardrobe', in which you will learn how to work directly on your own clothing, which is available to book as a full day option.

Fabrications opened in June 2000 in a refurbished derelict shop on Broadway Market in Hackney, East London.
