What happens in this class?

A day to stitch whatever you fancy: crazy critters, a bag, a cushion, an apron, fabric jewels, a simple skirt, or perhaps you have another idea? This workshop is suitable for children (aged 8+) and young people – beginners and super stitchers alike.

These fun sessions are guided by each individual attendee's ideas and skill level. We will try to ensure that everyone enjoys creating something they can be proud of.

Absolutely thrilled to have found Stitch Club. Sam runs amazing workshops for children interested in sewing. No prior knowledge or skills needed and the children come out with fabulous creations every time. Highly highly recommend, my daughter wants to come as often as possible. Convenient location in central Pinner and lovely dedicated sewing studio.

Stitch Club is a place to relax, learn and create. Each workshops is tailored to the attendees' requirements: whether you are a beginner or wanting to build on existing skills, whether your style is totally practical, slightly wonky or somewhere in between; they will work with you to achieve your best.

The workshop leaders have many years of both industry and teaching experience. Most workshops are led by Sam Harvey, a practising textile artist who has been running Stitch Club for over 10 years. Both my children and I have attended day workshops and also weekly classes over the last years and we all have thoroughly enjoyed Sam's classes. The time has simply flown past. We look forward to joining again in the Autumn.
