On this wonderful workshop you will get to make your very own, slouchy tote using an old jacket.

This course includes: 1) Understanding patterns 2) Sewing leather 3) Deciding on design details 4) Construction of your bag 6) Using leather tools 7) Finishing with rivets and edge treatments

Old jackets have a story to tell and ready-made detail that you can incorporate into your own design. This workshop is about encouraging students to see the value that already exists in materials and details and use it! This also stops old clothing from going into landfill.
