About your host, Saturday Sewing Session
Arianna Cadwallader, workshop seamstress from Channel 4's 'This Old Thing: Vintage Clothes Show' and author of 'Sewing your perfect capsule wardrobe' is the creator of Saturday Sewing Session. Arianna has been sewing since she was small and has a degree in historical costume construction and a history of working in film and fashion before starting the school which works alongside her profession as a seamstress and milliner.
The school started on a Saturday, above a pub, but quickly grew into a larger space and opened up sessions on the weekends and weeknights. Saturday Sewing Session offers beginners and intermediate sewing classes in alterations, dressmaking, pattern cutting and a range of other inspiring classes.
All teachers at SSS are trained experts in their field who share the same passion with sewing, design, pattern cutting, tailoring and construction.
All sessions are taught in a working studio with a maximum of 6 clients at any one time so lots of individual attention.
