Fantastic dressmaking class. I had never sewn from a pattern before and Monika was excellent at helping me make sense of it, adjust it to fit my proportions and create a lovely dress. I would highly recommend this class, Monika and Remode Collective.
Emmanuelle Le Coz - 28 July 2022
The dressmaking course is fantastic. With only 4 students you get so much 1:1 attention and everyone was able to do their own project. Monika is very patient and helpful. Always available for advice and questions. We also benefitted from seeing her help other students so we learnt a lot. We practiced key skills (zips, buttonholes...) on scrap material. Learnt about patterns, cutting, material... Everything was provided (bring own pattern if you want). With the 4 week course you do need to work on it at home in between but it's worth it. Not for complete beginners but I managed a dress having only made cushion covers before.
Wendy Davidson - 14 June 2022
Monika kindly added in one extra class following the 4-week dressmaking course. Delighted that she did and I left with my dress all but complete! Will be back for another course.
