What happens in this class?

This workshop will introduce you to the melt and pour soap making technique, with a focus on using embeds to create stunning effects, such as swirls. Unlike other soap-making techniques, the melt and pour technique offers the opportunity to create soaps and have them set and packaged within a few hours, without the need to wait for weeks for the ingredients to cure. Goldfish Soapies is a new and exciting pop-up in London! Workshop participants are taught how to create wonderful hand made soaps using the melt and pour technique and are given plenty of opportunity to experiment with different shapes, patterns and fragrances. We use a variety of natural soap base ingredients, scents, oils, fragrances and dyes. Participants leave the workshop with beautifully wrapped soaps to enjoy themselves or gift to their family and friends.

I had such a great time at this workshop making soaps! I really LOVED the variety of fragrances and colours that we could use to customise our soap - my goat's milk strawberry soap smells and feels amazing! I took quite a few different soaps home after the class that I've made, and given to my friends and they all loved them and were very impressed! The teacher was very informative and catered towards the different needs of everyone in the class as we all wanted to make something different, she also told us a lot about different soap making tricks and ways in which we can try making our own soap at home by creating our own recipes!
