Beginner
What happens in this class?

Copper foiling is more ‘lightweight’ than traditional leaded stained glass and is ideal for small panels, sun-catchers, lampshades and other 3D objects. This course is ideal for beginners and new-comers to glass. It may also be of interest to those who have worked in other glass techniques and who want to broaden their skills.

On this one day introductory course students will complete a hanging sun-catcher to take home.

The course will cover all the basic aspects of copper-foiling including: -glass cutting to a simple pattern -application of the copper-foil -soldering -finishing
