Macrame Plant Holder: Beginner Experience

A kit full of brand new materials including natural cords, wooden rings & beads, and a printed guide to your knots for reference. Once complete, your hanger will fit a 10cm-25cm wide, 14cm high plant pot which may be available to purchase at the studio subject to stock levels! You'll also be invited to enjoy a complimentary sweet treat and alcoholic / non-alcoholic drink.

We'll start with a brief drinks reception and get you settled in our beautiful studio. Your artist instructor will give you a quick introduction to the origin and history of macrame, and what makes it such a mindful practice. Then, we'll show you one of our finished plant holders and guide you through what to expect, from beginning to end, in creating your own. With that in mind, we'll take to our seats and start making! This class is very much catering for absolute beginners, so you will be guided step-by-step through one plant holder design, in unison. Where stock is available, at the end of class, you can choose from a small collection of plant pots (and sometimes even plants!) perfectly sized for your macrame plant holder.

MasterPeace is a very short walk from Victoria and Sloane Square tube stations. It is also well connected by bus. We are located within the hidden gem that is Eccleston Yards: accessed via Ebury Street and Eccleston Street. Once within the yard, look for our gold 'hamsa' brand logo, to help you find are cosy little studio

Yes absolutely. We can accommodate groups of up to 24 guests at our studio, or can easily arrange to visit you at your own office or venue. Macrame is a lovely activity to do in groups as it's incredibly satisfying even to absolute beginners. Guests can achieve a beautiful result quite quickly, and will leave your experience feeling proud, relaxed, and creatively inspired.

For regular classes, you can cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before your class. Privately booked experiences are non-refundable / re-schedulable as they require us to cancel our pre-existing classes to make space for them. Managers’ discretion will be applied in exceptional circumstances.

This workshop is designed to cater for absolute beginners, and with that in mind, it's likely the rest of your group will be quite reliant on slow, steady, structured, step-by-step guidance. With that in mind, we suggest that if you would like to work on your own design, this particular class may not be the best forum for you - but please do get in touch with us about alternative ways to complete your project.
