Knitting for Beginners - Learn the basics

Lovely little space near Angel station. The tutor was really friendly and happy to answer any questions. Instructions were clear and easy to follow and I loved the idea of getting you started on your own project straight away. Would highly recommend and I’m already looking at other courses.

Naomi was a great teacher, but it was a struggle with the time we had to get the hat finished

I’d never picked up knitting needles before so for me knitting was a completely new experience. The teacher was patient and we learnt a few different stitches which we can continue to practice outside of the lessons. The venue is nice and in a good central location 😊

Excellent introduction class for machine knitting - it was just what I needed to get started, learning machine knitting basics of casting on, tension variation, casting off, multiple yarns, simple lace techniques, all of which was taught with demonstrations followed by individual preparation of samples. The teacher was very good - very hands on and attentive to individual problems , and also very helpful with answering a wide array of questions about machine knitting, types of machines, questions about design and a host of others, as students needs differed. The location was fine - good light, and good workspaces , well prepared. Would strongly recommend for anyone starting machine knitting or needing a refresher on basics

I thoroughly enjoyed learning to knit. The teacher was very patient with me, as I didn't always grasp things first time. She was happy to go over stitches with me as many times as was required. I didn't feel silly to ask basic questions. All in all, I would heartily recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn knitting. I will come back again for more classes. Bev.

I used to knit when I was at school but I had forgotten everything. So this course was perfect for me as I could go right back to basics. I quickly remembered why I used to enjoy knitting so much. It's really relaxing and I have found myself knitting in front of the TV and on the train. I really love it! Knithub 24 is a great school - it's in a good location and the teachers are really nice. I will practice my new skills a bit more and then go back for the intermediate level. If you're thinking about learning to knit, just go for it!
