3 hour workshop
This is a perfect class to introduce a keen crafter into the skills used in Silversmithing. This ring making workshop includes annealing, hammering, stamping, filing and finishing. Students will also be introduced to piercing and soldering methods. Students will spend time exploring different ways to create marks and surface textures on their silver ring or choose the have plain finish.
You will have choose of different thickness of silver wire and strip silver to create a truly unique ring. As per our other workshops there is always an option of adding Rose gold detail at an extra cost on the day.

This is a Flexitime class, which means the teacher can run this class around your schedule.

About your host, J&J Workshops
J & J Workshops are run by Jordanne and Jodie, who met whilst studying Material Practice together at Brighton University. In running their jewellery-making classes, J & J provide a relaxed and supportive environment in which students can explore their creative side, whilst also tapping into a brand new skills base. Students leave the workshop with their own piece of silver jewellery that has been designed, crafted and finished by hand. Jordanne and Jodie love seeing students surprise themselves with how professional their outcomes are.
Typically the workshops are run from from Jordanne's Warehouse Studio in Battersea.
This workshop will be run by Jordanne, one half of J&J. The workshop is fully equipped with everything that's needed throughout the day, with each student having their own Jeweller's Bench Peg, Steel block and Piercing saw.
All students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
