Jewellery making class hosted by Tea & Crafting
2 hour class
Tea & Crafting - Covent Garden, WC2E
Bring your beautiful hands and leave with a shiny new ring to adorn them. If you have never worked with silver before: welcome to the world of jewellery making!
In this class
It all starts with a smooth strip of silver. From there, you'll get to play with textures, shapes and sizes and - to polish it all off - you'll even learn to set a stone to make a ring of your own.
This class is practical, but suitable for any level so you'll be guided through using all the tools of the trade until you are comfortable in making your own ring.
Now you can
Take home your very own jewellery and feel a burst of pride every time you have to answer 'Where did you get that ring?!'
Sterling silver (like you'll use in Tea & Crafting's jewellery making class) normally includes a little bit of copper to make it more durable. It's always meant to be 92.5% silver though, which is where that 925 stamp on all store-bought rings comes from.
Tea & Crafting - Covent Garden, Covent Garden
15 Maiden Lane, Covent Garden
Wed 4 Oct, 6:30pm - 8:30pm
None of the dates work for you? Let the host know and you will be notified when new dates are added.
The writing is on the wall, creativity is contagious and Tea & Crafting is certainly doing everything to pass on the bug!
Tea & Crafting is a group of friendly artists who are partial to a bit of old-fashioned craftsmanship with a modern twist. If your undiscovered creative side is simply yarn-ing (😜 ) to get out, then join one of its craft workshops where crafty souls can congregate to do just that.
Expect to learn new skills, show off creations and have a lot of fun!
Work in friendly, small groups then throw in some top-notch guidance and a nice cup of tea, and you have got a Tea & Crafting classic. You’ll learn all the basics and leave with some goodies that you’ve made too.
Any class can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase. See cancellation policy.
