One Day Silver Layered Pendant Workshop | Obby

This intermediate class builds on techniques introduced in the Wrap Ring Workshop & includes annealing, hammering, stamping, filing and finishing. Students will also be introduced to piercing and assembling methods.

Students will spend time exploring different ways to create marks and surface textures on their silver shapes, and then choose to assemble the pendant in a composition of their choice.

This class gives students the foundations to produce a completely unique and very wearable pendant, with a broad range of outcomes possible.

Things to remember

Students may wish to bring their own chain along, alternatively they will also be able to purchase their desired length of silver chain at cost price. The workshop is fully equipped with everything that's needed throughout the day, with each student having their own Jeweller's Bench Peg, Steel…

I had a great time with Jordanne at this group workshop. The studio was wonderfully set up with everything we needed to create our pendants. Jordanne explained the processes & techniques very clearly & was there at every step to make sure that we were making good progress & enjoying the workshop.
