Leather is a brilliantly versatile material to work with because it comes in so many colours, thicknesses and finishes. Plus you can get your green creds and buy secondhand leather clothes from charity shops, or have fun browsing Brick Lane Market for affordable and colourful pieces to work with.

On this workshop, we'll show you how to work with leather, including cutting, painting, punching and more, then learn to combine that with jewellery making skills. Don't worry if you're new to jewellery design, there will be a big dash of inspiration from fantastic designer Melodie Telliez.

Valentina was a friendly, helpful host...nicely set up workshop with lots of choices of leather to make jewellery from :o).Only tools for design/similar advertised...was a bit disappointed as there was no painting as advertised, which I was looking forward to!
