Learn how to use your machine for drawing and creating some wonderful fabrics. Jill will make sure each student understand their machine and how it can be used

What happens in this class?

Learn tips and tricks on how to use your machine for free-motion embroidery. Build your confidence with an interactive class and have some fun while learning. You will also look at the different types of dissolvable fabrics that you can use to create your own fabrics. Jill will inspire you with several samples of how you can use this technique while talking through the basics on stitching. You will learn how to use straight and zig-zag stitches to create texture and interest to your work.

The class will be of 2 hours duration via Zoom.

I learnt a skill that I never knew I had and thoroughly enjoyed! I never knew my sewing machine was so versatile and has opened up so many new techniques and ways of being creative. It's given me so many new skills to enjoy doing over Lockdown. The teacher, Jill Kipnis was wonderful, inspirational, friendly and professional at all times. The venue was Zoom which worked well for machine embroidery as Jill can demonstrate really clearly and close up.

Jill really is an inspirational teacher, full of ideas and so knowledgeable and passionate about her craft. She takes time to explain and provides clear instruction and enthuses everyone about the endless possibilities of machine embroidery. Highly recommended.
