Great chance to learn some new skills, socialise and understand a some of the history and possibilities of spreading important information via 'craftivisim'.

I learned a bit of the history of 'craftivisim' and how one can use craft to highlight important issues. The teacher was extremely friendly and informative. The only issue was the venue, it was quiet and calm in the cafe, but it was so cold and unfortunately sitting for a over two hours trying to embroider was a bit of a challenge as my hands were becoming too cold to hold the needle properly. I never removed my winter gear and was chilled from start to finish. Perhaps in the future, during the winter, it could be held in the cutting room where there is a good sized radiator.
