I had a wonderful crocheting lesson with Jenny at her very cute Knit Knack Shack! We practised the basic stitches, learned to read patterns and I even managed to crochet a star. Jenny is a lovely lady: extremely patient, she gave me lots of very useful advice and was able to tailor the lesson to my needs. I left full of creative ideas and very inspired to get better at crocheting. I am so happy to have discovered Jenny and her Knit Knack Shack - I will definitely be back. Thank you Jenny!

I had a great time learning how to crochet with Jenny. The class is held in a cosy, tranquil room. Jenny Is extremely patient, taking the time to ensure that you understand each stitch she tasks. I will definitely be attending another session in a few weeks time.

Amazing. I am only 14. I booked one class and I knew nothing about crochet before. After the class had finished I had managed to learn how to crochet a simple rectangle. I practised everyday in front of Netflix. About 2 weeks later, I booked another class to enhance my skills, I learnt how to make amigurumi crochet. Jenny is patient and works at your own pace to make sure you understand it. I have now achieved a bee with the amigurumi. I aspire to make many more.

I booked this session for my daughter and myself, as complete beginners. The location was ideal, 2 minutes walk from Wood Green Underground. Blue House Yard where the Knick Knack Shack is located is really pretty and great coffee served in the neighbouring bus cafe! Jenny is a great teacher, patient and gentle. The 2 hour session went by so quickly and we had a great morning learning to crochet, chatting and enjoying the atmosphere. My daughter has practised a lot and wants to return for an intermediate level class. Thankyou Jenny, we really enjoyed the session.

Had a great session with Jenny. She showed me how to do a couple of stitches and built up my confidence in doing them and towards the end of the session she also had time to show me how to read pattern instructions. I now feel confident taking on simple crochet projects.

Was very happy with the class, I started with never having crocheted before and now I am able to do a few different stiches and feel confident to be able to practice alone as well

I had a really great experience with the Knit Knack Shack. I'd previously attempted learning to crotchet using Youtube videos, but wasn't very successful. With Jenny's help, I got to grips with the stiches pretty quickly. I wanted to make a crotchet basket and Jenny taught me all the techniques I'd need to do this and sorted me out with a pattern. The class includes a crotchet hook and wool you can take home with you, which is great. Jenny was really helpful and the shop is very cute. Would definitely recommend. The coffee was a lovely bonus. Thanks!

I had a crochet session with Jenny last weekend as I bought several crochet kits months ago but got stuck trying to go through the instructions by myself. I needed some guidance reading the patterns and practicing the different stitches. Jenny was wonderful, she is clearly passionate about teaching and transmitting her skills. The class was exactly what I needed and she helped me improve my basic knowledge. I was so motivated and happy about my progress that I kept on practicing and finished my first basket the day after our session. I also bought some yarn at her lovely shop to keep my projects going!

I did a Crochet Class last week, & Jenny taught me how to make a couple of Granny Squares. And, showed me how to join them together too. Jenny’s instructions were very clear. And, Jenny took her time, to explain, the steps to me. I fully enjoyed my class, & did a 2nd class this week. Both classes, gave me the confidence, to continue working on some new crochet pieces. Jenny is lovely & friendly. And, I felt very comfortable, during the class. Thank you ever so much Jenny, you’re Amazing.

I so enjoyed my session with Jenny . She introduced me to the basic stitches of crochet . Her calm and friendly manner was reassuring to a complete beginner. I left with a determination to practise, some yarns and a magazine.

Jenny is a great teacher. I wanted to learn how to crochet a granny square. I'd made several attempts to learn online but finally, after a class at Knit Knack shack, I nailed it and have made lots since. Totally recommend. She's very patient. You do have to practice as she tells you. I'm definitely going to book another class.

A great way to spend a morning! Weather was nice so we were able to take the lesson outside. I started with almost no background and left with knowledge of the basics. Grateful that a very nice ball of yarn and a hook was included with the lesson, so I can keep practicing at home.

I had a really lovely crochet lesson with Jenny. She was welcoming and good company and an excellent teacher. She taught me how to follow a crochet pattern and we started making a bag. She stocks lovely wool and other crafty things. I would really recommend a lesson with Jenny at the Knit Knack Shack.

I really enjoyed my introduction to crocheting. I'd never even picked up a crochet hook before, but Jenny has the patience of a saint and despite my efforts to get everything in a tangle, managed to get me going on the basics. I came home with something to practise on, and advice on how to improve. It was a lovely couple of hours.

I had a one to one class with Jenny to learn to crochet. It was amazing, Jenny is very knowledgable and is happy to show you whatever you need. She is very patient no matter how long it takes for you too understand the process. I wanted to know how to crochet squares, she showed me how to make them and advised me to try doing a little bit of crochet every day so that I don’t forget what I learned. I can’t thank her enough for her patience it was a very enjoyable class and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to crochet.
