Students will be introduced to techniques that have been used for centuries. No previous glass experience is necessary.
It is not necessary to have any prior painting or drawing experience in other mediums to learn these techniques.
The course is also suitable for those who have completed a stained glass or a fusing & slumping weekend or other stained glass courses.
During the course of the weekend we will cover:
– mixing & applying glass paint.
– how to select and use the right brushes
– working with wet paint
– working with dry paint
– mixing & applying stain
– kiln preparation
– firing for painting & staining
