A welcoming atmosphere in beautiful surroundings with insightful teaching of the art of lino printing. The subject matter of line and form in nature was a perfect inspiration for creating a template. The time flew by as we were led into the process of printing using various papers and printing presses. It has inspired me to continue at home.

The venue was fabulous, super organised and Armi was wry welcoming and friendly. I learned more than I expected in the time given and was inspired by the many samples of past students work on a slide show plus Armi’s own work in the walls! In addition Armi provided a fabulous cake and tea or coffe, so I came away worth a number of prints which I am very pleased with, having had a lovely fun afternoon! Thank you Armi!

This is a very interesting workshop as Lino printing can be daunting ; initial drawings, cutting tools , techniques, but Armi takes you through the whole process with clarity, excellent visual resources and patience! I particularly enjoyed seeing how Chine Colle can be used simply and how pops of colour can give real energy to the black and white prints. Armi's studio is superbly equipped and laid out and everyone was delighted with their work.
Camilla - January 10th
Absolutely brilliant. Armi provides the space, the equipment, the inspiration, the guidance, support and the techniques so that everyone makes something really beautiful; and has a lot of fun in the process. I would love to go again.

Armi was so friendly and welcoming. She taught us all sorts of useful tips, had time for each of us and gave us lots of inspiring ideas. We learned about different techniques of drawing, then how to carve out in different ways on the link itself. We also learned how to print on different papers. The venue is simply fantastic. An incredible workshop space in the garden at the back of Armi’s property. Truly superb. Armi also fed us a delicious chocolate cake and tea! It was a wonderful way to spend a few hours with friends. I’d be very happy to do it again!

This workshop was outstanding. We all loved it and were inspired by the tutor and quality of teaching and support. My only possible negative would be that it wasn't quite long enough to absorb a new skill and felt rather rushed at the end - in spite of the tutor's willingness to go into overtime! But even so – a wonderful experience.
Sophie - September 13th
Truly brilliant workshop I only wish it could have lasted all day. Armi’s studio is beautiful and well stocked with wonderful materials; she is a creative, kind and inspirational teacher. And the cake was delicious. I learnt a huge amount and now feel confident to undertake my own Lino printing projects.

Four girlfriends and I had the most wonderful evening together with Armi!! We made some great prints and inspired to do more. It was such an informative and creative evening, whilst being very informal and fun. Thank you so much!!! I cannot recommend more highly
Ruth - October 17th
Really enjoyed the lino printing class. Something I've wanted to try for ages. We were shown how to achieve really good prints to bring home at the end. Everything provided including loads of choices of paper to print on. Delicious cake too and all in a beautiful workshop. A brilliant morning- thank you!

The setting for the course is inspirational and the workshop is very user friendly with all tools and materials readily at hand to use as needed. I had never seen this media being used before so I was a complete novice. The course starts with a short powerpoint presentation covering the key aspects of the skill and then Armi shows everyone how to get started and you're off. The numbers were small enabling Armi to give all members of the course exactly what they need throughout the day. If you get stuck or need to be shown something again or if you need inspiration Armi is at hand to help you along. By the end of the day I had produced some really lovely prints and also learnt how to stitch some of the prints into a little booklet. We stopped for a delicious lunch. In addition to what I learnt and took home (feeling very pleased with myself) I also met some lovely people who were on the course too. All in all a brilliant day out!
Nicole - February 2nd
I had such a lovely time at Armi's Lino Printing workshop. It had been a while since I had done this process and she went through everything and demonstrated each stage of the process. The facilities are great and the home made cake too!
