Pottery Taster Session

I had attended a tester class with Ronaldo. He had taken a small class of four and took us step by step. Ronaldo's class was full of information, well organised and very professional. A great class to attend. Thanks, brilliant class.

A great two hours! It was a birthday ‘surprise’ gift for the day and all four who attended loved it! Ronaldo was great, made sure everyone got attention when at the wheel and explained everything really clearly before we started. We all came out with at least two pieces - of varying quality! Great taster with Ronaldo. Two hours of ceramics/pottery workshop. Myself and my 14 year old daughter. Ronaldo took time to explain all the techniques and how to create a few simple pieces of pottery on the wheel. It was a good start and very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend. This was a present for my granddaughter's 10th birthday and her sister did it too. The venue was great and Ronaldo is super friendly as well as being a highly competent potter and patient teacher. The girls made some pieces which Ronaldo is going to glaze and fire. They really enjoyed the workshop and are longing to do more.

I booked this taster pottery session as a surprise gift for my girlfriend’s 30th birthday and we both had a fantastic experience! Ronaldo was an amazing teacher, showing us the basics on how to make bowls from clay from start to finish. The 2-hour session went by so quickly in the end and really whet our appetite for more! We would thoroughly recommend this session to anyone and will be doing exactly that amongst our friends in the weeks to come!

Ronaldo's pottery taster session was an excellent experience, and has made me want to attend more classes. I learnt basic throwing techniques using the pottery wheel. Ronaldo was extremely personable, a great teacher - friendly, relaxed and patient. The venue was well set up, safe and provided lots of space to work comfortably. I would highly recommend his classes to anyone looking to try their hand at pottery.

This class was so much fun. Felt like I learnt so much, and could have continued with it as a hobby. Ronaldo was an amazing teacher, and it was also great to hear about his artistic practice as well. We've immediately booked another session so I can't think of any better praise than that!

We had so much fun and actually have learnt a lot about pottery! Ronaldo is fantastic! Very talented and knowledgeable - we all got inspired. Under his supervision we managed to create 3 bowls each, which is quite impressive since we are beginners. Def recommend it!

I booked this taster as I had always wanted to try throwing and decided to bring mum along too. We both had such an enjoyable time learning from Ronaldo! He was patient, knowledgeable and attentive; the perfect instructor! More than this we had issues travelling to our class and he was so understanding and accommodated us with a full class ( which he didn’t have to as the fault was ours). I couldn’t recommend this taster session more highly, honestly.

Very good class. Ronaldo is soft spoken, easy going, experienced and personable which makes for a very enjoyable, educational and productive introduction to pottery. We loved our class and may book again. Highly recommended.

The class was incredible, from start to finish. We both felt very comfortable and confident when throwing. Ronaldo's professional approach to the class allowed us to enjoy the session. We had a great experience with Ronaldo, he was very helpful, attentive and fun to talk to. He guided us through the whole process of pottery making as we were complete beginners. He is an excellent teacher and was very patient with us while we learnt the basics. The session was really fun overall and we would definitely like to go back! So much fun for my first experience in pottery! Ronaldo, our Teacher, was very patient and friendly. He teach us the basic skills and we were able to make 3 bowls/vase and wait to collect then once ready. It’s a very nice class and an alternative way to spend your afternoon/day, especially if you would like to challenge yourself. The place from outside doesn’t look so inviting , but it is actually a friendly place, equipped and ready to make you feel at home! Strongly recommended, if you are not afraid to get dirty! ;)

This was my first time ever doing pottery and I must say, it was such a pleasant and therapeutic experience! The teachers were so kind and patient with my friends and I. They were also very encouraging even though it was my first time. I cannot wait time go back!

Ronaldo was very patient with me, this was my first time working with clay, and something I always wanted to try. Ronaldo gave a demonstration which I thought was great. Overall I felt comfortable and have decided to book a 4 week course :) Was lovely meeting him in person after watching him on the Great pottery throw down :) :)

I booked this session as a gift for my mother's birthday and it really did not disappointed. Ronaldo was an excellent teacher who showed clear passion and enthusiasm for his craft. He was very patient and helpful and was always on hand to help. The studio is so lovely and was a really nice setting for the class. I would really recommend this class to both beginners and experienced potters. It really was a great experience. Thank you Ronaldo!

DISGUSTED! Arrived for our lesson and the building is closed, teacher hasn’t arrived and his phone is switched off. No other contact numbers provided my Obby and no replies to messages. The round trip Uber has cost £60 and were now freezing cold for waiting outside in the rain so long. My partner is having brain surgery on Monday and this was the one request my son had to spend his last weekend doing a pottery session with my husband as he’d always wanted to give it a try. Devastated doesn’t cover it. Perhaps Ronaldo the teacher would like to phone my son to explain why his day has been ruined and that no one contacted us? I can’t believe you’ve done this to us. Absolutely disgusted. Suggest no-one uses this site.

Ronaldo was very friendly and welcoming. The session went so quickly I had so much fun. I had never used a pottery wheel before and Ronaldo was so helpful, letting us make what we wanted but also giving us enough help to make something good. I would definitely recommend this workshop.

Great Taster Session/Workshop, Ronaldo was an excellent teacher and as total beginners we managed to create 4 pieces between the 2 of us. Informative but lots of fun, highly recommended!!!

I booked the pottery taster as a birthday present to my boyfriend - and it didn't disappoint! The session was a lot of fun. Ronaldo had an amazing balance between teaching & helping us enough that we ended the session with some nice pieces, while also letting us get lots of hands-on experience. We learnt a lot while also having a really relaxing and enjoyable time. Ronaldo is a great teacher and was very welcoming and friendly throughout. I think the session length was perfect too - we had lots of time to attempt bowls and cylinder vases, and were engaged the whole time. A great experience - I highly recommend it!

This was a fantastic experience and Ronaldo was a brilliant teacher. My wife and I booked the session for our wedding anniversary and certainly had a memorable day. Right from the get go its hands on preparing the clay and then after a little practice we were making our first of two bowls each. Every step of the way Ronaldo was a clear and helpful guide and there was a definite improvement by our second bowl. For a relaxed and enjoyable experience I highly recommend this, we had zero experience but came away knowing we'd achieved something - and had great fun along the way!

Ronaldo is an absolute class act and a master of his pottery craft. In the short period of time i managed to take away the necessary pottery skills i needed in order to kick start my business. Ronaldos teaching is very insightful and straight foward to follow. I very much enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend new pottery to starters to check kn and book a class🙂

I learnt to throw on the wheel and apply slip onto my finished pieces. Had a great time learning and being taught by Ronaldo. He's a really great teacher, patient and encouraging. Will definitely continue my ceramics journey!

Me and my friends did a workshop with Ronaldo. It was a fantastic and fun experience! We learnt a lot in just a couple hours. Ronaldo is a lovely and paiten tutor, most definitely will be booking another session ☺
