Wheel Throwing Workshop - Single Session

Zoe was patient, calm and informative. We went for a date activity and it was nothing less than fantastic, even if what we made wasn’t. We are hoping to go back in the near future!

Zoe is great teacher and really supportive, the facilities are great and the vibe really friendly and chilled. This is great for my mental health and for ‘me’ time. Very grateful I’ve found this.

Nice studio and really friendly teacher who gave very clear instruction. Was surprised given price of the workshop that not even one bowl was included in the price and this was only mentioned at the end of the class. Also out of a group of six, two of us didn’t feel we had a lot of 1:1 time.

Me and my husband had a really good time. Zoe was very patient while taking us through the basics of pottery making. It's harder than it looks! Great class , great fun and good value for money. Highly recommend.

Pottery is something that I have always wanted to try my hand at. I recently attended the pottery throwing workshop and will be booking the pottery taster workshop too at Workshop 305. The staff were friendly and helpful and even though I went to the class alone I was made to feel part of the group. I loved it, it was fun, challenging and definitely not as easy as it looks. I managed to make items I considered worthy of taking home and hope this is the start of the hobby I had hoped to realise years ago but never managed to. The throwing workshop is perfect as an experience before taking a longer course and I definitely recommend it. I'm looking forwards for my next opportunity to take another class.

We had a great workshop and experience and we were well guided during this memorable afternoon. A very welcoming team and really recommend it! We know look forward to collecting our creations !

This session ticked a lot of boxes - it was great to (well, begin to) learn a new skill; it was stressful and relaxing; it was fun and hilarious; sensory and creative; made me use my brain, concentrate and think about what my body was really doing! The time just flew by… I wish I lived nearer so I could come in a regular basis - thank you Ellie for your expertise and making the session so enjoyable.

Tutor was very easy to understand and gave great simple instructions. Supporting where needed and great at encouraging our individual learning. Thank you for a fun session - I really enjoy it. Looking forward to deciding what to do next at workshop 305

Excellent class, I achieved so much more than I expected. Our tutor pitched the amount of explanation, demonstration and support exactly right for our small and inexperienced group.

Our 15 year old daughter really enjoyed a three hour workshop recently. It was a small class so she was able to get plenty of support and advice along the way. Highly recommend for beginner level.

Very enjoyable session - the 3 hours flew by but there was plenty of time to produce 3-6 pots. The tutoring and help throughout the session was excellent.

This was my third pottery lesson/course and by far the best. Tutor was incredibly patient and explained everything in detail, while allowing for self directed learning. Couldn't recommend enough!

It was a unique experience.. However I dont think for a taster session we should to do the cleaning up of the materials. If a longer course, then yes.

I had such a lovely session on the Saturday morning class with Ella, she was very patient and walked us through the process, taking time to explain everything!

Great fun and a great teacher - we had a fab time and looking forward to seeing the finished pots! We would definitely recommend this to our friends especially as it supports the workshop's wider works.

Absolutely wonderful Saturday morning wheel throwing. I learnt so much. The tutor was brilliant. Very patient and genuinely cared. I just want to go back as soon as I can!

This experience was fantastic. Ella, our instructor, was very patient and encouraging. She was happy to help, demonstrate whenever required and knew her stuff! The space is great, well equipped and just right for a beginner experience. Kerry was very friendly, and also very encouraging. If in doubt, give it a go!

This was a great introduction to wheel throwing. Ella was very patient and helpful in teaching us the correct techniques. It was a lovely, meditative experience :) I would have given it 5 stars if we had a bit more time at the wheel and didn’t have to clean up afterwards!

This workshop was great fun. The techniques required were clearly explained and our instructor was always willing to help particularly if things were going a-wry. Our pots were left to be fired and glazed. I would have liked there to be an option to have the finished item(s) delivered by post as I live at some distance and will have to make a specific journey back to collect them. Overall would recommend.

Amazing experience! I had so much fun. Now, thinking when I am going to repeat It. The place was really nice and the staff very welcoming.

The workshop was great overall. Ella was helpful, skilled and talented! I think it would be better if instead of doing a full demo from start to finish at the beginning, we did it in stages together. Otherwise, no complaints! It was great. Thanks!

The class was excellent. The instructor was very thorough and she took time to show us the techniques as many times as we needed. As the class was small, everyone could get help and we ended up with at least 3 pieces each. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone.

I am completely hooked! I had such a fun morning learning the throw on the wheel. The instructors were so clear and very supportive. I’m already looking for future classes to do with them. Couldn’t recommend it more!

What a wonderful evening! The teacher was so knowledgable and helpful, and made sure everyone got plenty of one on one time so everyone progressed really well. I loved how she encouraged me to embrace the (many!) mistakes I made to create my own unique piece, different to what others made and we all left with a piece we can be proud of. I would really recommend this to anyone, and I'll for sure come back!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE !!! My son and I were doing the "Wheel Throwing Workshop. It was extremely great fun and time and my 10yrs old son loved it VERY MUCH. We made a nice pottery with lady's help who was doing this workshop and she was just AMAZING... The class was a really good introduction into throwing on the wheel. With a small group it was easy to get lots of practical hands on help which was really appreciated. The tutor was clear and patient with an adaptable approach and it was easy to ask questions. Overall I really enjoyed it and managed to make a couple of not too wonky items!

I absolutely loved this workshop. The tutors were kind, fun and really helpful and the space is brilliant and calming - I didn't want to leave! Really proud of what we were all able to achieve in just one evening.

I really enjoyed the wheel throwing class. The teacher was excellent - with clear instructions and guidance at the beginning and during the class. With only 4 of us there, there was time for individual help and the 3 hours felt long enough to complete some good pieces of work. I would highly recommend this class.

Bought this for my girlfriend for her birthday and went along to support/try. It was soooo much fun, way above expectation! Learned loads, very good teacher who was very helpful and personable. Class size of just 4 means there is plenty of 1 on 1 time to teach individually and 3 hours is a good amount of time to keep practicing and learn the neccessary skills. My girlfriend has already booked another class to go with her friend! I can't recommend highly enough!!

This was fantastic. A great way to spend the evening and super therapeutic. I was a total beginner (still am) but thoroughly enjoyed learning the process. Our teacher was fantastic everyone was really welcoming and friendly. I am looking forward to seeing my work fired and glazed. Would definitely recommend.

This was a really fun and well managed class! I hadnt used a wheel since being at school, but managed to turn out 5 pieces by the end of the afternoon. The Worshop is a friendly and comfortable space, and is well worth your support! Definately going back for more and a “mystery class” too! You will love it!

Absolutely loved this workshop. Our excellent instructor showed us the ropes and was ever patient when helping us individually. It was very relaxing and the three hours flew by. None of our class of four had done hand throwing before yet we all made pots that we were very happy with. Covid rules were scrupulously observed throughout.

AMAZING! Great! I have tried 3 different pottery workshops and so far this one is the best!! Great teacher, she explains very well, in detail and with patience! Also the clay is high quality, it really allows you to do thin objects rather than chunky ones. 100% recommended!

We had a really lovely day learning how to throw with Elouise. She was a great teacher and we had a lot of great instruction and guidance. It was a really fun activity and we’re excited to see our final pieces once they’ve been glazed and put in the kiln!

Great session led by the team, the instruction was clear and there were a lot of opportunities to get 1-2-1 with the teacher to practice the techniques Also, the care and attention to being COVID safe was exemplary, would highly recommend

We attended the Wheel Throwing workshop as total beginners and were amazed with what we managed to achieve in just a few hours! Eloise is a spectacular teacher, clear with instructions and incredibly patient. Considered us hooked - we can't wait to come back.

Another wonderful class which I would highly recommend. My son and his friend really enjoyed their 3 hours of wheel throwing. The workshop was very relaxed and Eloise the teacher was brilliant at explaining everything and helping them. They both managed to get 3 pieces off the wheel. We will definitely be back.

Very enjoyable class with Eloise. With only four of us we got a wheel each and plenty of (needed!) attention from the class teacher, with all of us able to produce 2-3 pieces we can collect later. Would highly recommend :)

A really comprehensive tutorial for throwing from base level. Eloise was a superb teacher taking us through step by step instruction at a social distance. Facility is great lots of space and well organised. Learnt a lot!!

Having patience and support, through the initial stages of throwing, felt important for me and to have a good foundation to throw. I'm very happy to be given the time in this session to focus on this. Eloise, our teacher, had this perfect way of being there for you - being there to explain and acknowledge your personal goals in this limited time. It was definitely worth the experience. I know I will definitely be coming back!

It's an excellent workshop. I have never thrown on a wheel, yet it's a great and playful experience. The teacher was very informative and demonstrated well how to start throwing.

This was such a good workshop. Sufficient tuition to get me started quickly (having never used a wheel before). Most of the workshop was spent using the wheel and having a go at making things. One to one help as required. Felt safe and very clean with all the measures put in place. Inspired me to sign up for the regular Thursday night workshop.

I had a great time at the wheel throwing workshop. Perfect for beginners, lots of fun and a great teacher. I liked how relaxed the workshop was. We were allowed to make anything we wanted and had plenty of clay. I will definitely book on to another class in the future!!!
