Excellent course. The teacher gave individual guidance as well as running it well for a small group and appreciated the printed hand outs to take home. Great selection of resources to use too.

A very enjoyable well organised day. The teacher was great, and there was an impressive array of materials for students to use. The school is in a very interesting space/centre. Fab lunch from the cafe next door. I'm pleased with my mosaic although the next one is going to be much better.

I loved this one day course. I learned loads and came away with a piece of art I can actually hang in my home. Excellent tutor who gives just the right amount of support. I would highly recommend. And there’s a fab cafe next door.

What a fantastic day! Catherine was a brilliant tutor and she helped me with ideas at every step of the way. I was thoroughly absorbed in creating my mosaic and the time flew. I’m so happy with my finished piece and I can’t wait to do another course!

Very enjoyable class with Katharine. This is my second one-day course at the London School of Mosaic and both teachers have been very good, albeit different in their approach which made it interesting. Felt supported and encouraged, and now want to try a longer course to be able to try out a larger project.
Evelina Greig - 4 November 2023

It was a really great day, and our tutor Catherine was really supportive of all of our ideas. She gave a good introduction to mosaic as we were all beginners, and she helped us with tips or stepping in to fix any issues. We had full access to lots of lovely broken china and many different types of tile. I am definitely considering signing up to a longer course now.

What an amazing day… something I have wanted to do for ages. Left inspired and with confidence to get going. Catherine is such a kind insightful teacher and her own work is clever and beautiful. Thank you thank you. P.s the cafe next door is also another wow ✨

I absolutely loved spending the day learning from Katherine and the rest of the group. The day was so informative - I picked up so many new skills & loved the format of the session. It was also incredibly fun and such a nice creative space to try out new things & make a beautiful tile. Thank you so much!!

I had a great day and really loved the course. Catherine was a great tutor, clear, knowledgeable and encouraging throughout the day. The choice of materials to use was fantastic and the relaxed feel of the whole experience made it a wonderful day. I’ll be back with friends to do more. Many thanks.

A fantastic course. I'm so pleased with all that I learned, the encouraging way it was taught and my finished piece. It looks even better today, 24 hours later.

I can´t imagine better option for myself how to spend a sathurday with time for myself. Our teacher was friendly, well prepared and carefull. She could give us enough attention according to the maximum of 8 people in the group. I can hardly recomand and I am sure that it wasn´t my last visit. Thank You for the organization, printed materials and the athmosphere.
Georgie Rees - 13 March 2022

Susan - 6 March 2022
A very informative and well-run class. Although I have some experience of making mosaics I wanted to learn from a professional how to use pottery and china to make a mosaic. I found Catherine's advice and experience helpful and I now feel more confident with this medium.
Milly Allen - 6 December 2021
Great day! Loved the tutor she was excellent. Highly recommend.
Tish - 5 December 2021
I really enjoyed this workshop. I learnt about some of the basic techniques for making mosaics, there were plenty of interesting materials to choose from, and the instructor (Catherine) was fantastic - offering helpful feedback and advice throughout. It's a really lovely and relaxing place to go, friendly staff who all seem really passionate about what they do (and the cafe next doors does great food too!). Would definitely recommend to others :)
Amanda Dixon - 16 May 2021
A really enjoyable course which was well structured and lovely to come away with a finished piece at the end of the day. It would have been helpful to have had a supply of cutters (the same as used on the day) available to purchase from the school, or more precise details about makes and stockists so that I could confidently buy online the same equipment that we practised with.
Reena Wadhwa - 15 May 2021
Was a friendly warm and informative experience as my first class ! I only wish that I was accommodated with my late request on additional material to work upon !
victoria diggle - 10 May 2021
